You can read all about the SF/Twy realtionship in my interview with him.
Tune in Saturday when SF dishes on Twy, the DA, and 9-11.
ALSO! He reveals something you're looking at right now will make you go blind. Find out more, this Saturday.
ROFL!
I can't wait!
I already know, believe me it ain't that big. I mean, it's SF.

I have access to the most deadly weapon on all the Hype, beware my power.
...
Twy?
Shhhhh.....
Ah, so she's nothing more than an usable item to you, is that it? Something you can take out to smite your enemies and just put aside?
That's hella wrong, SF. You just sunk down to MB's level in my book.
NO!
There can only be one!
What is this? The ****** version of Highlander?
Whatever makes you sleep at night...I prefer the term. Character keepingly challenged.
so...?
Oh, my bad..
haha
Let me get into interview mode.
THAT needs to be how the interview starts
Welcome to Inside The Poster's Studio, tonight's guest
is someone who needs no introduction...........So, SF.
Welcome back. Do you like what I done to the place?
Not at all. You sir, are a pale impersonation of a
truly great man. Just kidding. You've done a good job
so far.
Yep, nowhere to go now but downhill...and away we go!
So you've earned quite a rep around these parts as
"The man of a 1,000 characters." You've picked up more
characters than the rest of us combined...except me.
What's your thought process in character selection?
People put thought into picking their characters? I've
got a huge imagination and a pretty short attention
span, which is why I switch so often. I'll get an idea
of a story, or even just scene I'd love to see, and
I'd pick up a character to play it out. That, or I'll
get to liking a character and just want to play
him/her/it. Simple as that. I don't sit and brood
about "Who should I pick now?"
I agree, impulsive decision making is the spice of
life. Now, you've been around the RPGs for awhile and
like I said before, played your fair share of
characters. In all that time ,who would you say,
stands above all else. Who is the one character you've
enjoyed playing the most?
Of all of them? Boy, that's a list....
Superman. Hands down. Most notably DC RPG Season II
Superman. Not to knock what me and Spike did in Season
III with the Unity, but I enjoyed playing Clark in
Season II the most.
It's what rocketed me into RPG superstardom.
Why exactly did you enjoy it? Did it have something to
do with a certain Alliance that is Dark?
Well.. partially. Not to knock the DA arc, which I
will go out and agree was the best arc these games
have seen, it was getting the feel for Superman that I
enjoyed the most. Before picking him up, I never
really liked the character, and I picked him up out of
necessity. The game was without a consistent Superman,
so I decided to step up to the plate.
A reluctant hero emerges...Moving on. Which posters
have you enjoyed working with the most?
I'm so gonna catch hell for this, but I honestly had
the most fun planning out the Gods & Men RPG with
Johnny Blaze. We're both Dungeons and Dragons geeks, and
collaborating on that game was a sort of return to my
roots for me. I wasn't always a superheroics type of
guy, and I'll always be a sword and sorcery fan at
heart. Other than that, obviously I enjoy working with twy,
who's my best friend here on the Hype. Master Bruce is
a good guy to work with, as is Green Lantern. Then
there's you, Spike, wiegeabo, Electro UK, Keyser, Red
X, trusty, hell, I was probably one of three people
who got on well with LibrarianThorne. I really haven't
met anyone here who wasn't a pleasure to work with.
Speaking of Twy, rotting minds want to know and now is
the time to offically bring it out...is there anything
going on between you two?
Hahaha! I should really be mysterious and say that you
should just ask her.I knew you'd ask that.
What can I say? I wouldn't be doing my job if I
didn't. Moving on, have you ever used anything from
real life or anything you've seen or read that's
non-comic related as inspiration in a post or arc?
Hmm.... I can't really say I have. I lead a pretty
boring life.
Wow. I must be the only one who fights supervillians
and aliens on a regular basis...
Although, I did do a post, I think it was last year,
as Superman, with him remembering 9-11. It was during the Unity arc, and while it was suppose to have an eerie mood, it did reflect my feelings on
that day.
Let's stop for a sec and talk about that. With the
anniversary of 9/11 days behind us and you being a New
Yorker, did the tradgey and the work of the firemen
and police officers change your definition of the word
"superhero" in anyway?
Wow, you really can't turn the journalist in you off,
can you?
It's a gift and a curse.
It did change my perspective on superheroes, a lot. I
was in high school, and I guess like others my age, I
kinda grew up that day. (I've grown down since, but
that's another story. ) Ironically, I was sitting in my god-awful computer
repair class, day-dreaming a little fantasy where I
was Spider-Man (No jokes, I know I'm not the only one
who does it.) when the two school janitors, Mario and
Luigi, came into the room to look out the window. BTW,
they weren't named Mario and Luigi, but they were dead
ringers for them. Anyway, of course the entire class
ran to see what was going on, me along with them. I
really had no idea I could see the towers that well
from the school, so I didn't realize that that's what
they were, I just remember thinking "damn, those
buildings are on fire". It kinda worked out, in a way,
that the attacks burst the bubble of my fantasy world,
and I didn't really get it back for a while. Now I
feel all sad.
Okay, we'll move on. Of all the arcs you've been in,
what's the one you've enjoyed the most?
I'm not allowed to say the DA, right?
*Loads shotgun*....choose your next words carefully,
they may be your last....
Haha, but honestly, it was. I'll tell you why, and
then I'll give you my second favorite just to be fair,
ok?
....that's okay. I just don't wanna have an overload
of DC stuff.
Don't worry, you won't get one. Looking at the DA arc,
it's obvious why it was so great. The Alliance itself
was made up of some of the most knowledgable (in the
field of comics) posters on these boards. They were
like the dream team, and their work kinda got everyone
else to up their game considerably. As for my non-DA
favorite arc, I loved, loved, LOVED the whole Tony and
Dinah angle in the One Universe game. Twy's obviously
great, especially with the Canary (probably because
she doesn't play anyone else ) and the addition of
weig, playing Jay Garrick as the stern father figure
made it work so well. I'm really looking forward to
continuing it.
When did you join the RPGs and what caught your eye about them?
My story, like any story worth telling, is about a girl.....
:
Well, tell it!
Seriously though, I was referred to the Marvel RPG by the poster Silver Sable, who played Silver Sable. I took up Doc. Strange in the end of season 1 of Marvel, and then grabbed the Riddler in the beginning of Season II of the DC game. The rest is Hype history.
Now onto everyone's favorite question. If you could
play one character, regardless of it's a comic
character or what, who would it be? And if you say
Spidey, god help you...
Nah, Spidey's like, fourth on the list, not that I
wouldn't jump at the opportunity. If I could, I'd love
to play Ray Stantz, Aykroyd's character from Ghostbusters. Which is funny, because I've always been
an Egon fan, but I just relate so much to Ray that I
think I'd play him best.
Interesting choice. Ray is the heart of the Ghostbusters. Egon is the brains and Venkman...well,
he's the mouth.
And Winston is the guy that grounds the whole team.
I thought he was the token black guy? Anyways..now
that we have the RPG approval forum, what's the one
RPG you would like to see greenlight and survive. Not
including G&M.
Hmm.. tough one. I've had a few ideas for RPGs,
including the Simpsons one, a Poke'mon one, and even a
cartoon parody one (starring Superferret, of course).
byrd man would pwn in that RPG.
Haha. I'd really like to see a well-organized and
consistent Multiversers game. That would be my pick.
Just so you know, MB and I are trying to give it
another go with JB. Third time is the charm!!!
Cool. Even though I think this is the fourth or fifth.
Oh. Well, damn. Let's bring things home, shall we? So,
what lies ahead for Superferret? What arcs and plans
are we yet to see from the great furry one?
Well, there's a big secret one I'm doing in one of the
RPGs I'm involved in, and I'm probably not going to
pick up all the characters I had before my
'sabbatical', but other than that, I don't know.
Fine then, be a post-tease!. That's all I have in the
way of questions. Anything you'd like to say to the
posters out there reading this?
Umm...Don't do school, drink your drugs, and stay in
milk.
Tune in next time when I interview Wiegabo. Will I break into song? Only one way to find out...
So next week is the interview with the dude I had the most difficulty spelling right each time aside from MST3K....w/e his name is.
(Just messing with you, MST3K_4ver. But really, it was difficult at first! )
