INSIDE THE POSTER'S STUDIO
Season III: Byrd to The Bone
Welcome, once more to Inside The Poster's Studio,
Tonight's guest is an oldie who recently come back to
the fold. Let me welcome Karem-Knight, or KK. Welcome.
*Does over the top cartwheel*
HEY GUYS!
....This interview is over.
....oh...
So, let's talk about your past. You first joined the
RPGs back in the early days. And your kinda infamous
for your early post. Tell us a bit about that time.
Well, it was preety much the start of the RPG's at the
time and everything was building up then, being a
Marvel fan at the time I ran to it and grabbed Green
Goblin the first chance I took. To say the first
season was a bit diffcult for me is an understatement,
I had people snapping at me every two posts, but there
were some people out there to help me like Keyser,
Harl and Ferret. But those times were brutal, for a 12
year old. The distrust beetween me and the players
went on till about Season II, espically my failure
with Ultron.
Do any posters in particular stick out in you mind
when it came to being *****ed at?
Well, I'd hate to name names, and since I think I'm
liked around these areas and don't want any distrust
I'd just name the two main culprits; Rizpower and
dtorn4, those two were some of the biggest *******s
I've ever met, and I come from Brazil and England so
thats a big statement. Riz actually killed me in an
arc.
How about the opposite? Which posters did you find to
be most helpful?
Keyser was defiantly a big help towards me, even
helping me write my posts, ofcourse most noticed when
they found the correct spelling of the word "glider",
nixonbat another guy who helped me out, he recomended
me to the DC RPG where I finally wasn't mauled at, and
where I got to play Two-Face, and also others such as
Harl and Ferret.
Ahh, yes. Electro UK told me a bit about the whole
"glinding" incident.
Yeah, I'm surprised not that many people have used
that as an insult, to my face of course....That came
out wrong
Indeed..............you glinding mother****er. Let's
go to some of my base questions, which story arc was
your favorite to participate in?
Hmm, now there's a tough one. Since it's a bit of a
classic and even though it was a ***** for me to get
anywhere with it, my arc where Norman Osbourne
campaigned for President of the United States, that
was a nice arc while it lasted, even though some of it
wasn't even planned it did set me off with a feud with
Doc Ock and led to my final post as GG.
I heard about that. I believe SF had Beast run for
office and a few of you jumped on the bandwagon?
Yeah, that was it, basically I believe Beast was the
democratic leader, Norman the reblican and about mid
way through the ellection, Ock showed the public a
video tape of Norman as the Green Goblin thus
elimanting him from the race and causing him to go ape
****. Another arc that I would like to mention would
be my recent Two-Face arc where I had the power
struggle beetween Harvey and Two-Face, allowed me to
flex my "RPG musceles".
What RPG character have you enjoyed playing the most?
Well, I can't really say, all of them but I'll allways
have a soft spot for Two-Face, playing as The Joker is
preety fun as well, Zano in CAH allows me to go wild
with my fandom of the crime genre, and Anarky is
proving a vent for my political views and just pure
fun to play. And of course, Superman in New Age, pure
fun.
Which poster have you enjoyed working with the most?
I have to say, Keyser, I've known him for years and
we've been good freinds since, he's always there to
give me a hand wehn I need help in an arc. For the few
times I've cross roads with him in Marvel, Electro was
preety cool as well since me and him were both noobs,
wieg's an awesome Batman to my Joker in OU, and there
are proably more that I've forgot to mention since
most of the old RPers have escaped my mind.
Let's move to something else, what's the one character
you'd like to RP, no holds-barred
Okay I've narrowed it down to two choice, you ready?
I'm always ready.
Geroge Costanza and Batman
Down to The Dark Knight and The
Dork Knight. Care to go into further detail and tell
us why?
Well, George is just such a funny character, the
ammount of stuff I could come up with him and what I
could do with the guy is just unlimted, depending on
the RPG, and Batman, COME ON! It's Batman, who
wouldn't want to play him? And the fact he was one of
my first words (the others being four, five and car.)
My first words were "I'm the Goddamn Batman." I'm
currently sueing Frak Miller....
You better.
With the approval system now setup, what's one RPG you
would like to see made a survive (not counting DC: NA)
Hm, I would like to see CAH going strong since it is
posibly the most orignal RPG on the boards, as well as
the Silver Age RPG both of them have potential.
No, I mean an RPG that hasn't been made yet. What kind
of RPG would you like to create.
Ah. Hmmmmmm, well I think a sitcom RPG would be kind of
neat, or a TV RPG, since most of them take place in a
world, thats like ours you wouldn't need anything
complicated to confind it in but I'd like a RPG that
was just soley based on comedey for a change.
There is a T.V. RPG that is in the works and is soon
to be approved. What are your thoughts on it?
I think it can work, I thought it wasn't going to be
approved but if it is, awesome, count me in.
So tell me, KK, what lies ahead for you in the future?
Mind giving us an idea of what's to come?
Well, expect Two-Face to kick major coin flicking ass
in DC, expect the gang war in CAH to come to a bloody
finish, expect Zod to kick Supe's ass in Season III,
expect the Spectre doing something in Ult DC aswell,
and expect Anarky to debate things while blowing
things up. Oh yeah, and hopefully I'll have a car soon.
I call shotgun!....That's all I have in the way of
questions. Do you have any final words before we
finish our interview?
Yes, yes I do, DRINK COKE!
Time for you to Glind away, now.
