trustyside-kick: So, just when can we expect that update byrd? Or are you just against immortalizing my era along with SF's and your own?
Byrd Man: Go **** yourself
.
trusty: Charming as always, byrd.
Byrd: When does the ******** start? I was promised a ********!
trusty: We are actually short on people. It would seem that the people who signed up for said ******** backed out. Now, I'm no expert but I think when it is just two guys...eh, that isn't a ********. I'm afraid to say what that is actually.
Byrd: ...buttsecks?
Now make with the questions, Mexican
trusty: Just for the record, I am not Mexican. byrd just finds amusement in calling me every type of hispanic on this Earth say for my actual nationality.
Byrd: Sorry, I know how riled up you Cubans can get.
trusty: Clearly. Now, the buzz on the Superherohype! Boards in the RPG section has been the release on the RPG ban. You seemed to be rather indifferent whether or not the hold on new RPGs was lifted. Care to explain why?
Byrd: Well, it's cause I've become sort of like one of those old war vets who doesn't make friends with the newbies. I'm tired of seeing so many new RPGs die that I don't want any to be created. But then I'm also a big supporter of free speech. If you want to make an RPG, then goddammit! Make an RPG!
trusty: Well, while there has been callings for new RPGs to arise, there is also talk about old ones being revived.
Byrd: There's a reason why they failed the first time, folks. We're like the scientist in Jurassic Park. I'm Jeff Goldbloom, CHAOS!!!!!
trusty: Ouch. Low blow to your...I suppose
previous beloved WSS?.
Byrd: Yes, as much as I hate to say it, WSS? should have died. I mean, I tried like hell to keep it going, only to have it die.
trusty: This question is tossed around all OVER the RPG boards. I mean, it doesn't matter what thread you are posting or viewing...it comes up. However, I cannot recall your own input or answer: Why do you think WSS? failed?
Byrd: I think it was a combo of things. To start with, we didn't have that many RPers in the game, and then when they got sketchy, it fell on it's ass.
trusty: But it seems that the attempt to revive it has stirred quite the amount of interest. Of course, there are a few changes to WSS? 2.0 compared to the dead RPG. What do you think of those changes?
Byrd: Meh. It's like dialysis (Sp) regardless, it's gonna die eventually.
trusty: Do you feel that the new Star Wars RPG has a chance at making it big? The concept thread has attracted many.
Byrd: Star Wars is something that should do very well in this setting. It seems to have a lot of jedi nerds coming out of the woodwork.
trusty: Yes, it seems that many players are having their own geekasms by mere discussion of the Concept thread. I believe you yourself are amongst those people.
Byrd: Well, I'm interested in it. Star Wars has a bunch of **** to play around with, I'll give it a shot.
trusty: Well before it can get a shot, a new method to approving applications must be presented. Think you can help out MB and twy as to how you think it should be done?
Byrd: 15 potential RPers, and the GM has to be worth a ****. I've had some bad GMs in my time creating games.
trusty: Sounds sweet and short.
Byrd: Like Byrd's love.
trusty: Uh...you do realize that in a way that can be turned against you and your methods in the bedroom, right?
Byrd: Next question...
trusty: There was no way avoiding it, so I may as well turn to some character-related questions. Two words: Bart Allen. You put the little guy through a lot of hurt.
Byrd: Well, in my defense. I did put him on the mountain top, it was only fair I drag him back down to the valley.
trusty: Did you know going into the DA arc that you wanted to have his fiancee killed off?
Byrd: Nope. No idea whatsoever. Now the torturing idea had been planned since SF was Slade. When the new DA came about, I got a IM from GL asking if he wanted Slade to take down a big fish in Supergirl. He was cool with it, and I said let's kill the *****.
trusty: So, you originally planned for Bart be more heavily involved?
Byrd: Well, he was going to be involved in the DA had I kept him. But, the DA needed a real monster to go along with Joker, and I knew Slade was a part of the group and I volunteered myself. I had no idea it would end the way it ended, I just rolled with the flow through most of it.
trusty: Previous to the DA arc, you brought Dick Grayson back into the costume of Nightwing. Were we going to see Dick back at the heroes' side regardless? Had you been aware the DA arc was coming and coming hard?
Byrd: I had known about the DA arc the season before our current one. I was orignally going to play Vandal Savage and have him be apart of it. And, about Dick. I had him slip the suit back on just before the DA arc, our little thing with Jason did that one.
trusty: And with his return, you brought together the first group of Titans as the superhero team The Outsiders. Have you and the other PC members made any plans we can expect next Season with them?
Byrd: Not really. The original plan was for them to be a team, but Batman keeling over kind of put a stop in Dick's involvment in the plan.
trusty: While I am ever so tempted, I won't bother asking about the plans for next Season referring to the aftermath of Batman's death. I suppose your lips are sealed, aren't they?
Byrd: Yep. My lips are tight when it comes to Dick!..oh, god can I rephrase that?
trusty: Sadly, no. That is too juicy to edit out.
Not even a little snippet? A name? A word? Something about the arc?
Byrd: Okay. I'll say this much. I'll give you the title of one of my first arc's next season: Everybody Loves Dick.
trusty: Charming.
Byrd: The actual title!
trusty: Well, at least it is something. I just might have to interview each and every one of you Gothamites to get the answers I seek.
Byrd: But the answers you seek are inside yourself.
trusty: ..creepy. Time to shift over to some good ol' "SWEET CHRISTMAS!" fun.
Byrd: Bout damn time, honky!
trusty: The Marvel RPG is something you've sort of strayed away from when the big-time Civil War arc last Season didn't turn out as everyone expected. What brought you back?
Byrd: Mostly Harl's mouth. That man can give some good head. No, it was the Knights. I had fun with Luke Cage, and the offer to be on a team with Iron Fist, Daredevil, and White Tiger was too good to pass up.
trusty: So, there aren't any other plans we can expect to see play out after the Marvel Knights arc is over?
Byrd: Nah, Luke and Danny will be continuing on with H4H. That's if Sensei will stay on. Little Icelandic ****er, I've grown attatched to him.
trusty: I'm touched. You came back just for me--er...us.
Parker. Peter Parker. The Spectacular Spider-Man. The Webhead. The Wallcrawling Webslinger....Spidey. How good did it feel to get to pick the character up?
Byrd: It didn't feel "good" nessecarily. He's one of the few characters I'd like to try out. I had no idea that UK would let me do it, I was just ****ing with him when I asked. But I can say, I've had fun with him and I think I'll keep him.
trusty: Wow, that answer is probably going to call for a lot of pissed off fans. He is one of the top characters everyone wants a piece of.
Byrd: Yes. Expect MB and EBJ to come at me with battle axes tomorrow.
trusty: Axes? MB is going to come at you with rabid sheep.
Byrd: He is a bahhd boy.
trusty: Nevertheless, when you picked up Spidey it caused for several Spidey villain PCs to just sprout from the ground. You're doing an awesome job portraying the webhead.
Byrd: Thank you, esse. I hope to rack in the awards when we get to a 1,000. Then my ego will be as big as Kevin Smith's ass.
trusty: Speaking of the awards, you thinking of introducing any new awards to throw into the mix?
Byrd: Which RPG?
trusty: For the entire RPG forum. Any new Poster or IC awards you've thought of?
Byrd: Yes. Most Longwinded Poster. You're a shoe in for that. Laziest Poster aka MB. And, best foriegn RPer.
trusty: I'll take that as a compliment thank you very much.
You have started a really really cool fanfic. Matter a fact, it is inspired from an RPG you tried to start up. Care to share anything with the readers as to what we can expect as your story continues?
Byrd: Okay. It's called DC: 1878. I took some of my favorite characters and moved them into an old west setting. Right now, I have a bit more to write in terms of my main character's origins, but you'll see more DC characters come out of the wood work as time goes on, adapted to the 1878 style.
trusty: If it makes you feel any better, I regret not supporting it to become an RPG. Real good stuff.
Byrd: SUCK ON THAT, ALL YOU F***ERS!!!!!
trusty: You surely do get around, but what is one poster you have yet to really work with that you would love to do an arc with?
Byrd: Damn. That's hard. I've worked with pretty much everybody. I'd probably say Q, he's one of the few I haven't worked with who you would want to work with.
trusty: Just last month, you dropped out of several of the RPGs you played in. You have slowly came back, but do you expect yourself getting more active anytime soon?
Byrd: Well, trusty. We'll see. Right now, I'm going through some personal stuff. I hope to get back on my feet soon, but don't count on it happening tomorrow.
trusty: Well, for your characters you do happen to still portray...with the exception of Nightwing since you Gothamite just will
not submit...what lies ahead for you in the near future byrd? Anything we should look out for?
Byrd: Yeah. I'm going to be up to my usual hi-jinxs with Ollie and Cage, in OU I'm having Gordon build his friendship with Dent, just to watch it all go down in flames. I really hope to get back into UDC soon. And with Spidey, I have a pretty big arc planned with ole web-head. Top secret, if I told you I'd have to kill you.
trusty: Hopefully we can add in an Arrow Family arc in DC?
Byrd: Okay, you caught me. Ollie is going to knock up Dinah.
trusty: Not what I was thinking...although I cannot tell if you are being honest or toying with me.
Byrd: I thought all Puerto Rican's had the ablility to tell the difference?
trusty: Where is wieg with the Scrub GIFs when you need him? I could sure use the GIF where Tirk's wife rants in that Musical Episode.
Byrd: Whatever, fish for brains!
trusty: That hurts my feelings, you know. My mind isn't thinking about Aquaman all day long...
Byrd: You underwater despot!
trusty: Such kind words.
Byrd: F*** YOU AND THE HORSE YOU RODE IN ON!
trusty: And there you have it, ladies, gentlemen...and MB. There you have it.
