In all seriousness... it was just simply a matter of a directional decision on Nolan part to do so.

If you hadn't seen the extra's and known about how much effort it took to learn that specific fighting style and such, would you even care how much was shown?

Proboly not.

I see what you mean, but I would STILL want them to pan out the camera... every person whom I've spoken to about BB (all loved it!), thought that they should've pulled out the camera...

Personally I like the fight scenes in Begins, but I do wish we couldve saw more of them, like a wider angle of them. Why cant they do the fight scenes like the amazing martial arts movies like house of flying daggers??

Again, you don't "PAN OUT" a camera. That's simply an incorrect term.

You either PULL OUT the camera (a physical move), or you ZOOM OUT (a lens transition.) To PAN is to pivot the camera sideways; it has nothing to do with how close the camera is to the subject.

I just wonder if the lack of mobility caused Nolan to shoot those scenes like that?

Its obvious it had something to do with it, but like Ive said many times before, I really hope we see something similar to BB with TDK fights, but done a little better and a little easier to see whats going on.

That would be something. All the complaints actually lead to better fight scenes....but with a catch! No cape!

Be careful what you wish for? :funny:

I just want to see Batman give out a serious ass whoopin' to the Joker. No mercy...

Well thats a sure thing with the interrogation room scene, we saw batman crashin joker into the wall/window, that will be a class A assbeating.

I think I once heard something said about making the viewer of the movie get a look at batman through a criminals point of view. A black blur kicking ass...I'm not so sure about the last scene with ducard though.

I think the new movie will be much more clearer action/fighting sequences, as I know the film makers keep an eye on what the fans have to say. Also, that interrogation scene is going to be straight bashing all over the room.

I want to see more of the fights this time around... i dug how they did it for BB, but each movie must evolve and i want to see more with TDK.

thats all i really WANT

but with all the explosions n other crazy sh** going on, i think we'll get some good action, i wouldnt mind a scene of Harvey beatin or trying to beat the living hell outta Joker..for that fact, some of Joker just WHALING on someone....okay i lied i really want those scenes too

Looking through this thread, I can see that the whine has already been brought.

what did the tumbler in the trailer do on the bridge? I can't make it out...did it shoot through the ground and go to the lower part of the ramp????

I want to get your suggestions on how intense and what kind of style of you want to see the fight sequences depicted in TDK. I want to see more of a Kill Bill style to the sequences with some more intensity! I also want to see Batman dish out more punishment and see him breaking more arms and legs! I want to see and hear the pain that Batman put on them. Another style would be similiar to the History of Violence style of fight sequences.

Bourne had the best fights in a movie besides anything in asia. American movie wise, Bourne is superior above all followed by Casino Royale.

I'd love a scene like the scene in TLH when Harvey punches Joker.
Joker: Nice Dent, but your no Batman *kicks him*

I'd love this to be extended to an ass-whipping by Joker ending in perhaps throwing Rachel off a building, or scarring Dent.

Cause Batman is based in a realistic setting where as House of Flying and most Hong Kong Cinema have the fantasy world aspect of fighting. They are dances. Bourne supremacy choreographer should have handled Batman and Nolan should pull the shot out till we see full body sometimes as much as getting in.

I *love* how Batman just dives at the ninja and takes him right off the railing -- it's fearless, and smacks of a pouncing leopard (which is how he should act.)

Just could have had more creative camera work
