Supergirl INTERVIEWS: Print, TV, SDCC2015 and MORE!

I hope we get flashbacks of James in his Jimmy days and working at the Daily Planet. Also hope they bring in Teri (and Dana) in for some good roles.

Meet the Cast

ET behind the scenes with Supergirl, and no surprise Melissa is more ad:hrt:rable than ever. 0:59-1:01--lovely pan up of the outfit (starting from the skirt) :ilv::ilv:. I mean even the ET reporter got to TOUCH THE SUIT. And Melissa I think is in love with the outfit calling it comfortable and sophisticated. I doubt any other comic hero can say that about their uniform. And she also talks about a family visit to the set.

Many will say this and I would concur, Melissa is the top choice to be Supergirl, She embodies the SG I remember in the comics from the 80's as a kid and reading about in collecting her comics including from the 60's and 70's; loving, caring, beautiful and powerful. But I just wonder, who was producers' number two choice? That would make interesting trivia.

Brace yourself for some super cuteness.

QUESTION: What happens when MTV asked Melissa to try and answer as many questions about Supergirl in 60 seconds while facing the newest superhero troupe the JLSP...The Justice League of Super-Pups?

ANSWER: So much cuteness you will melt as Melissa did. Looks like Kryptonite and donuts are her ONLY weaknesses.

Got a case of the Monday blahs? This video will zap them like heat vision!

Mod Edit: Don't put the entire URL, just the last letters like I did. :)
SPOILER:
She misses the first question about Streaky!

Will be recording it...12:37 is when I've signed off for the night. For New York City viewers on CBS2, it will be MUCH LATER thanks to Jets and Bills NFL Football. BUT, my cable system has a second CBS station, WFSB 3 Hartford.

Meanwhile, from Twitter is a picture with Late Late Show host James Corden surrounded by three beautiful women, including you-know who (far right)!

ONE LUCKY BLOKE if you ask me.

Well, I knew Melissa was going to have lots of fun on The Late Late Show. On the show after a brief monologue, they intro the guests from their dressing room doors; Melissa was door number 2 and as expected, she was her bubbly self in a sexy grey/blue jumpsuit with some red piping down the side (hmm Supergirl's night club/dancing outfit? Well maybe not).

Meanwhile, I saw this picture of Melissa, and actresses Olivia Wilde (on the left) and Saoirse Ronan (middle) doing their version of Charlie's Angels.

Oh, it was the James Corden show. There was a different graphic there before; and I was too embarrassed to say that I didn’t get the "meme." :hehe:

Easy to be confused. The Late Show is hosted by Steven Colbert, the Late Late Show is Mr. Corden. And their graphics are different.

Of course whenever I think of those titles I think of the movies CBS2 in NYC used to show overnights back in the days. Totally different times back then.

You had

The Late Show
The Late Late Show

and even

The Late Late Late Show.

The previous picture (I swear to Zod!) was of three black gentlemen (possibly celebrities) looking quizzical. I.e., it seemed to be one of those meme thingies. Thus, my confusion as to what I was supposed to "WATCH TONIGHT!" :woot:

Um, no....that is the pic that has always been there....

OK this video is where things get a little freaky deeky. Now I find that for Melissa to recite Chaucer and the Canterbury Tales (including the accent) shows a bit of brains to go with the beauty. And I find it refreshing to find she likes the Seavers from Growing Pains. But her first celebrity crush...Simba from The Lion King? OK, Jonathan Taylor Thomas who was the voice of young Simba as well as starring on Home Improvement.

Well here is a bit of irony in all this.

From her Instagram, a few weeks ago Melissa posted a picture of her holding up her dog Milli

I went to her Twitter account and I said something to the effect of why do I get the feeling I was hearing "Circle of Life" from Lion King, a movie I loved and saw couple of weeks after I had an appendectomy in the hospital (1994).

Well, not only did she "favorite" my tweet, she responded by saying "milli = simba"

I guess I can say that may be my proudest moment on social media; Melissa "Supergirl" Benoist responding to my tweet. :woot::woot::woot::woot:

Yep, I saw that......perfect comeback. lol
