Might as well have a thread where we can post interviews and clips of them.

Check out this new one with Justin and Rossum:

Justin seemed nervous

Emmy sounded odd to.

Good enough though.

Maybe, I like how Justin said Goku doesn't know who he is if he is not fighting... that is kinda how Goku is. His whole purpose and identity is in fighting.

He probably is. This film is a huge deal for his career and one word can cause a massive backlash from fans. I think he's just choosing his words carefully and trying to keep up the momentum the film is starting to gain.

I don't know why Emmy called herself a fighter though as she doesn't do martial arts... maybe just a slip and the fact that she has some action with guns.

Fighter doesn't equal martial artist.

So I guess Emmy's words unveils Dragonball: Evolution as nothing more than a feminist ploy.

I do get the feeling Chatwin understands Goku as a character, which I appreciate. Good video.

agree, hes putting a lot of effort into this character, i do not think Goku will be emo, most people dont understand gohan dies in this movie and thats why hes sad.

i think justin lies about having been a fan of the manga and i don't like how Chow Yun Fat did the Kamehameha's pose but Justin refuse to do the pose.

the most surprising part of the interview, for me, was when Joon Park started speaking. if i heard him speak in a podcast i would never have guessed he was an Asian guy.

i dunno if Justin was lying about being a fan (i wouldn't doubt if he was) but he DID pronounce "manga" wrong. as for him not doing the Kamehameha...it IS kind of disturbing. i understand he might have been nervous or intimidated but at the same time, he's the star of the movie. i doubt Hugh Jackman would be so shy to do a Wolverine pose if they had asked for it. it kind of shows that Chatwin doesn't have strong optimism for the role he portrayed.

Same here.

It seemed more of a Chow Yun Fat kiss ass interview to be honest.

And Justin standing up and shouting Kamehameha would be awkward its not like he had to just do a pose.

doing a fighting pose and doing a kamehameha infront of the cameras is a something different IMO.

it definitely was, but he's the biggest star of the film by far and it's in Asia so i could see why he was the main focus.

it wouldn't have been awkward if he could do it convincingly. Kristen Kruek did a stupid knee/punch combination on a dude dressed in drag as Chun Li to promote the Street Fighter movie, but Chatwin can't give the audience a taste of the most popular attack in Dragon Ball lore? what kinda mess is that? Chow was willing to do it, so it's not as if he had to do it alone.

i think it was a combination of Chatwin not having an outgoing personality combined with him being intimidated at the time.

someone who had already been familiar with martial arts and learning how to express yourself through kiah's (yelling) wouldn't have felt so uncomfortable doing that in front of cameras and an audience. Tony Jaa does exhibition performances and choreography in front of live audiences all the time and he does a lot more stunts and dangerous things than just posing and yelling. if Chatwin had felt confident in how he performs the kamehameha then it would've resonated with the room and it could've tore the house down. instead he opted to be shy and give some excuses for why he can't be seen doing something he's gonna be seen doing in the movie anyway.

i understand being caught off guard just as much as anyone, but i would've respected him more if he had risen to the occassion and given us a sign that he really likes playing Goku. actions speak louder than words.

is joon park serious? this is how he talks???????

this was just funny.

watched the whole interview. now that was just sad. i had a feeling that everyone was fake smiling. were they there to promote dragonball or to talk about Yun-Fat Chow? i dont care how big of a star he there is. i would understand if 50% of the interview was about him. but even more.

this is only the chow yun fat's part and the last part of the interview, the whole interview must be longer i think

no beard or something similar for roshi. yet on this conference he had it.
yamcha needs to be blond. yet on this conference joon had black hair.

You can clearly tell the cast isn't happy with the film and I am sure they know that there is lot of negativity surrounding this project.

I just hope this movie doesn't kill their career.

i think it had more to do with the fact that noone asked them anything about the movie . only about Yun-Fat Chow
