In an interview with IGN, IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak said he hopes that Project 007 can be the start of a new trilogy while calling the Hitman dev's secretive project a "young Bond for gamers."

I played Hitman 1/2 (the newer games) last week just to free roam and do whatever I wanted to do in the environment. I think a Hitman IV could have been a better option for IO. I'm not sure how long they could sustain making games for a licensed ip, and if they managed to do that, what will happen to new Hitman games?

I never watched James Bond Jr. so I just looked it up because I never really knew if he was supposed to be Bond’s son. But he’s actually his nephew. Which would mean that his dad (James Bond’s brother) is also named James Bond?

The thing about James Bond Jr is that it came out during the gap between the Dalton and Brosnan movies, when the film series was in limbo. It was actually the only way EON could produce any new material for Bond for a bit.

Cutscenes could look a lot better. But this is from IOI, I felt like the same with their Hitman games. I'm sure the gameplay would really make the game worth it.

I wonder what is the structure of this game. Uncharted story driven story but with James Bond or the newer Hitman games with 6 to 8 maps?

First Trailer was really neat, liking the Vibe and all.
If they play their cards right, we could look at a fun new IP.
A neat origin story with good gameplay, opens a lot for a prime Bond action espionage game down the line.
