La The Darkman said:I think something that people forget when it comes to characters Like Tony Stark or Reed Richards is that neither of them are "warriors" or "soldiers" while that have all proven themselves neither of them are "built" for that type of thing. BP, Cap, Wolverine, Cable and others like them are born for combat and while none of them are as the two I mentioned before I think they are all (ok maybe not wolverine) are better at "strategy".

I've always considered mr fantastic to be a more 'off the cuff' type character rather than prep time, the macguyver of the marvel universe being able to put something together at a moments notice rather than having it sitting in a room just in case the **** hits the fan.Eros said:i beleive Mr.Fantastic is also a master of that field to.

Eros said:true, but i would rather have Reed Richards on my side in a war then any of those "Warriors" you named.

Why waste time?chiefchirpa said:And that Macgyver of Marvel Universe shouldn't it be Tony?
Anyway, let's put out new versus thread, guys like Galactus vs Squirrel Girl. BP and IM need a rest.
Varient said:Why waste time?
Squirrel Girl Wins,................................................. OF COURSE.
Mistress Gluon said:Let's see, saved IM's ass, kicked Doom's, assisted with Bi-Beast, toppled Deadpool...
I honestly expect him to lose.Locs said:I think Black Panther should be the victor this time around.
I'm sure after a warmup against the Surfer, (C'mon she Beat THANOS!) , Galactus will have to pack a lunch and call for help if he wants to win this one.Mistress Gluon said:I mean, Galactus is a bit extreme, but at her current streak...
Darthphere said:Actually, he probably would, lets not act like the FF has evolved from the 60's and BP has stayed the same.![]()
Horrorfan said:I say Sue and Thing make mincemeat of the guy no probem. Reed isn't really a fighter, and I've never thought Johnny was all that hot, forgive the pun. But thing and sue would cream him.
Whens the last time he beat cap? I only really know about ultimate cap, and I think he would overcome BP fairly easy, because he just seems like hes tougher and a little more vicious in fights than the 616 cap.
La The Darkman said:Like I said earlier if you can sneak up on Sue and take her out quickly enough you can beat her. T'challa could easily out think Ben.
Cap and BP haven't fought each other in years as far as I know. For the record ultimate Cap would easily get his ass kicked by 616 BP. It seems like the basis of your whole argument is "I just don't believe BP could win"![]()
Horrorfan said:Nah, I just don't buy BP beating ultimate cap at all. The closest we have come is ultimate avengers, which is basically more or less the ultimates animated, and cap took it with ease. Ok its not 616 panther but it would go the same way. Ultimate Cap with little effort.
And if that was the case about sue, any healthy, strong male could sneak up on her and KO her with one punch.
Varient said:I honestly expect him to lose.
Understand,... From EVERYTHING I've read,.. he doesn't know about Tony's current nano enhancement.
Any version of Iron Man prior to extremis is going to lose any fight started by the BP.
This one,.. after extremis? He's going to lose,.. learn about extremis, then plan for it.
If some "Punk Hacker" can bend Tony over and make him a killer,.. BP won't have a problem once he learns about the current upgrade to Tony Stark.
