Yeah, that's quite possibly the best Spidey fit I've ever seen.

The success of the films would suggest there's still some mileage left in the old suit yet.

Here's my version of Iron Spidey

This reminds me of the Spider-Man 2099 costume somewhat. I like this one but I'm just ready for Back In Black.

Best Spidey costume:

I liked the bigger spider, but I never cared for the half web half blue boots. That just looked stupid. Other than that it was a cool design. I'm not sure how anyone can stand the Tony Stark Armor.

Although the suit design was nice, the abilities it gave spidey were just WAY to over the top. If I wanted a second Iron Man, I'd right to marvel asking for War Machine Back. I mean stealth mode, infrared vision, gliding, I'd put money on augmented super strength. The legs thing doesn't make sense either. A different colour scheme would have been nice to. Like I said, WAY too Iron Man wanna' be.

I agree with whoever said that spidey's old costume needed to be shaken up. But Iron Spidey wasn't suited for him. I think they should have tried to stick with like his House of M costume, or gone back to Ben Reilly kinda' thinkg like someone suggested. Scarlet spider was cool, but it wasn't Spiderman. It was Ben. Where as Ben's Spiderman was still Spiderman. If that makes sense...oh well... Anyway, costume should be reworked, but Back in Black would be very very cool.

I really didn't mind the Iron Spidey suit at all. I liked the design.

I did think it had problems though... like the three mechanical legs. Why three? That makes no sense at all.
And of course there were all of these technological additions that seemed unnecessary, and (more importantly) un-spider like... Some of the augmentations I had no problem with... like the gliding for instance... but most of it felt like stuff you wouldn't expect Spidey to use, and a lot of it seemed to do things that the spider-sense traditionally used to fill in for...

if you are a figure collector the iron spidey fig was kind of crappy. the joints are the type that gets loose easly, the extra arms are flimsey, and well the paint job on most of them was really, well, crap. its to bad. i would have liked a decent fig of it. I do like the Ben spider-man costume. they did a good redesign on it. it sucks to draw it though. so freeking detailed.

I'm working on a custom spidey right now from the base of a 1st Appearence spidey... I think I might make him the red/black iron spidey, but use Supermarvelman's idea for the red to be white.

JLU's a solid line. I was there for a while, but it was when I was just starting out so they weren't very good. It took me a while to get the hang of it. Actually, for spidey, I think I'll just use the Iron Spidey logo on the Symbiote body...basically, lose the footies, and swap in the tiny hand squares.

Yeah, no problem. I'm working on Spidey, Mac Gargan Venom, Ares(Mighty Avengers style), and Luke Cage. When I get a couple totally finished, I'll make a thread in the Products forum. I already got my Modern Daredevil completely finished.

Personally I think Hasbro's Marvel figures have been pretty awesome. I have only got my hands on some spiderman and ghost rider ones, but it's convinced me that, again, it's people hating on something because it's a change from the norm.

Just the same I am convinced most of the hate from this suit comes from hate for Joe Q and the way he *gasps* trys something new (!!!!). It seems to me comic fans are, on the whole, VERY resistant to change, any change even though some will dispute that. It seems they like hte status quo and don't want things to ever change, whereas I am of the opinion things need to change every so often.

I haven't read CW yet, but from what I know (waiting for trades) the suit WAS supposed to be a bribe by Iron Man (as well as gathering data too I suppose), and keep spiderman on side. Of course if it was designed by Iron Man it would have some of the capabilities of Iron Man's suit.

The design is very cool. Hippy, shut up about Metal Gear. It sucks ass and you know it, and you are just trying to convince yourself that the storyline is worth a damn. But it's not. Sorry
