So im guessing Batmans gonna have to come and save the day when the jokers thugs come to rob the gotham bank, in the day light.

Depends if the robbery in question is the one Batman and Gordon talked about on the rooftop at the end of BB. If it is, obviously Batman wont be involved.

I doubt Nolan is stupid enough to let Batman come out in day time.

i dont think Bale was anywhere near the set when the scene was shot.

also that scene may be earmarked for Joker's introduction in the movie, which was already confirmed to be a prologue of sorts.

True. But then there's the speculation that Batman is responsible for his scarring during this scene. Meaning then that he would be present and that this wouldn't be the robbery that Bats and Gordon would be referring to.

I'd like to see batman fight in the day for once
Batman uses the darkness for theatricality and deception. The sunlight would completely compromise this.

But Batman just never comes out during the day.

Maybe they can try in the comics a couple times, but never in the movies.

Batman in daytime is like... I don't know. I can't think of a good anology.

Didn't Batman come out in daytime in TAS? In extreme crimes?

Yeah, many times during one of Dini's Poison Ivy episodes. It felt/looked so odd.

They don't call him the Dark Knight for nothing.

Yea I highly doubt Nolan would ever have Batman make an appearance in broad daylight. Unless... Unless it were an absolute life and death situation where Joker is in plain view of Bruce with a weapon pointed at Alfred or Rachel's head.

The name of the episode in which Batman appears in the day is called House and Garden.

Freaky episode.

Well batman cant just sit there while they rob the bank

Unless he didn't know about it.

It's very simple. The police arrive at the bank, The Joker had already escaped, Gordon lights the signal later that night, and tells Batman what went down.

Batman then uses his detective skills to track down the culprit (Mr. J).

Yeah that sounds right. I was just thinkin batman might come out in the day light for once

From the news conference..

""We tend to shoot at night like some kind of covert operation," he said. "So, we have minimal people actually seeing me in that way. But I'm sure they look and think 'Who the hell is that freak?' when they do come across me! Afterall, that should be the point because Batman is meant to strike fear into people's hearts. So, if they just thought, 'Yeah, yeah, it's Batman,' then it wouldn't work."

Na, I wouldn't like that too much. He's not The Daylight Knight.

The Joker takes hostages to another location in the school bus and it devlops into a siege. See the side with the Cheif and SWAT commander, they find the empty schoolbus and chief tells the SWAT guys to go in. If it's night by then then Batman might show up.

Well they could also just make it look like it's night. Look on the special features for "Cast Away". A majority of the movie was filmed in daylight.

My bank's open until 8 on weekdays. :o

Which is night in the fall and winter. :o

Lobby & Drive-Thru.

Is Batman FINALLY going to come out in the daylight?
What the hell do people mean by finally. Batman will NEVER comes out in the daylight!
Not even in Batman and Robin!

I think the scene will pan out with Bruce Wayne stumbling upon the heist in normal day clothes, but he will just stand around looking dazed and confused while french mime acts prance around about him. The scene will wrap up with the Joker merrily waving at said dazed and confused Bruce before he speeds away in his getaway vehicle.
