So Batman will have redeemed himself in the eyes of Gotham. He'll be on the MCU roof with Gordon. They'll talk about events that have just passed, then Batman will go the ledge of the building, ready to jump off into the night. He turns and says

"Why do we fall Commissioner?"

Gordon shakes his head, not knowing the answer.

"So we can learn to pick ourselves back up"

Then Batman jumps off the roof, he glides towards the camera, and we cut to:

The Dark Knight Rises

The story has come full circle. And so ends Nolan's Batman trilogy.

How do you think the movie is going to end? Share your thoughts on the end scene!

I think the end scene is gonna be a humongus list of people who worked on the movie that nobody gives a **** about reading and the audience walks out on it

BUT THATS JUST ME

The Dark Knight Rises

Directed by Christopher Nolan

Produced by Christopher Nolan
Produced by Charles Roven
Produced by Emma Thomas

Story by Christopher Nolan & David Goyer

Screenplay by Christopher Nolan & Jonathan Nolan

Batman created by Bob Kane

Something to that effect.

Mine would be:

Someone (maybe Selina?) revealing to Gotham City the real facts in TDK´s ending via TV brodcast (maybe).

---

Gordon than turning up the new bat-symbol. People looking up oh the strees, through their windows to the symbol with Batman arriving next on the roof.

---

Dialogue from the recent events... Bruce revealing his secret to Gordon (Gordon flashbacks with Bruce - scenes from the 3 movies).

---

Some bad ass dialogue that will make funboys crying. Last scene: epic shot of Batman gliding, doing his patrol on the night [ The Batman drums theme playing ]. And...

The Dark Knight Rises

I want the last shot to be Batman on a building overlooking Gotham. I dont care about speculating about the scenes leading up to that, but im hoping thats how it ends. I dont care if thats a cliche' either.

he learns over too far on his trusty gargoyle, remembers his back injury, falls to his death, and his life flashes before his eyes.

2 Years Later

Alfred is at the Grayson family funeral. Dick is crying so much. And then the movie ends with him bending over and saying

"Why do we fall?" (kind of a harsh joke even when i said batman falls to his death)

It will end on a cliff hanger ala the 60's show.
"Will Batman escape from Bane's Bench Press of Bedlam?"

No animals were harmed during the production of this movie.

Hahaha!! I'm going to feel secretly let down when this doesn't happen.

Followed by a shot of Nolan turning toward the camera.

"Not with me involved."

*fans leap to their feet bellowing in frustration...then sit back down and hit their inhalers*

That would be unoriginal.

come on, they arent athletic enough to even leap from their seats

If this is Nolan's last bat movie and the next one they make is a reboot, then I say they kill off Batman at the end. Nice little twist and something no one would be expecting.
