Harrison Ford can act? I love the guy but he essentially plays the same character. He wasn't typecast because he became HARRISON FORD. So people would hire him when they needed a character like those he already made famous. He is typecast. He's just typecast as the sarcastic tough guy with a heart of gold. There really isn't much difference between Indy and Han Solo.Matt said:Why wasn't Harrison Ford type cast? At the time Star Wars was far bigger than Superman. The answer...HARRISON FORD CAN ACT! It takes a strong actor to break a type cast...Reeve didn't have it. Couple that with the fact that he choose horrible scripts and cheap indies between and after Superman movies...he never proved he had the chops to be anything but Superman, that is why he was type cast.
