Superman Returns Is singer messing with us?

Why wasn't Harrison Ford type cast? At the time Star Wars was far bigger than Superman. The answer...HARRISON FORD CAN ACT! It takes a strong actor to break a type cast...Reeve didn't have it. Couple that with the fact that he choose horrible scripts and cheap indies between and after Superman movies...he never proved he had the chops to be anything but Superman, that is why he was type cast.

Harrison Ford can act? I love the guy but he essentially plays the same character. He wasn't typecast because he became HARRISON FORD. So people would hire him when they needed a character like those he already made famous. He is typecast. He's just typecast as the sarcastic tough guy with a heart of gold. There really isn't much difference between Indy and Han Solo.

According to UGO, we'd see one large action sequence saving the plane, some montage day in the life footage, and another sequence at teh end, Superman V.S. New Krypton.

I don't see how this is an inaccurate assessment.

and you truly believe that's ALL there is in the $180 mill., 21st century superman movie? Less than spidey 1? Oldguy, to think I used to agree with you

He has done films where the characters are quite different from his norm, the problem for him is those films don't tend to do as well as the ones where he is the 'sarcastic tough guy with a heart of gold' (something he does do very well of course).
