Is Spider-Man going to reveal who he is in the movie as well?

Will Spider-Man reveal himself in the movie?

  • Yes! It could be during Spider-Man Day.

  • No! That would be wrong, leave it to the comics only.

  • I don't care.

  • I would just cry!

Yeah it happened meaning people saw his face, but he didn't say who he was.

I think they know who he is as that one kid knew that Peter Parker took pictures of Spider-Man for the Bugle I think most that see Spider-Man unmasked can probably put two and two together & also the kid who gave Peter his mask back on the train said we won't tell nobody while giving Pter his mask back so that leads me think they knew who he was

I don't want him to, but he will.

I hope he does, then says "It's me! I'm Spidey!" then everyone just looks puzzled, as no one knows who the hell he is. :p

Even if they wanted to do it the unmasking was so unpopular in the comics I dont think they would risk it.

If they do reveal his identity more, I hope theydo something that actually follows the comics. They should show Peter climbing a wall in his street clothes, change, and leave his clothes webbed to the side of the building. And let his clothes be found by whichever villian, discovering that PP is Spider-Man. Then he could taunt Peter in a variety of ways.

Or.....

They could do something like the first issues of Marvel Knights, Down Among Dead Men (I believe thats what it was called). Spidey gets his ass handed to him in a fight and is left for dead. He's found and taken to a hospital, where someone snaps a pic of him. (His mask was nearly shredded.) JJJ sees the pic and says he kinda recognizes that face..............
It was a decent story imo. Just a couple of thoughts, thats all.

sandman is just a villian that spiderman has to fight, the real emotional villians are venom and gg2, because the movie is about the symbiote and the trilogy is about GG2. Sandman is just another supervillian.

Out of the 3 villains we know spidey will go up against, we know that spidey will fight Harry who knows his ID and Brock as Venom will gain this knowledge instantly so we have at least 1 person who will discover spidey's ID.

Well in the teaser, it seems he does. But i think Gwen and Sandman will know. Heck Aunt May as well.

When i saw this, it got me thinkning. I was over at newsarama.com, and they had news on how Spideys unmasking will effect him in the future. Towards the end a comment was made and it went like this:

Now we all know Peter revealed he was Spider-Man in the comics, but is something like this to happen in the movie? Normally the movies don't follow the comic books closely, but what if it were to happen? When would be the suitable time in the movie? *ponders* Spider-Man Day!! Or maybe not.....Though it seems to fit, it can be just any ordinary event for Spidey, and then trouble happens etc. This really got me thinkning, and if it were to happen, maybe it could play out for the sequels?

What do you guys think? Here's the article

That's a crazy idea, it would disrupt chances of a good sequel:mad:

Well, uh, Eddie looked skyward and said 'Peter Parker' in the trailer, so unless Peter decided to do a costumeless dance on the roof, I'm pretty sure he finds out.

no! that would totally suck! we've had enough with the train scene

Maybe Venom will rip Spidey's mask off & JJ. will either find out or come close to finding out in this movie the same way he almost did in the cartoon.

I don't see why he couldn't, Brock knows spider-mans identity so he would use some way to get back to parker for what peter did to him, and simply capturing a loved one has been done before plus im sure the other 3 villains will partake in this, so frankly I think revealing spider-mans identity to the world would be a good way for venom to get back at peter
