Is the PSP worth the buy?

I've worked in retail before, if they really did, if I was buying say Star Wars, no one was like oh you should buy the Clone Wars Cartoon too.

You can tell when someone works commission.

Do you really live in a fantasy world where you go to a store and never have to ask for anything? :o

*Walks into Best Buy*
"Why hello good customer, are you looking for something specific today?"
"Why yes, actually, I am looking to purchase a PSP."
"Oh well, right this way my good man, would you like a complimentary cup of coffee and free danish?"
"No, not today, I am in a hurry, I am to see a movie."
"Well, by all means take your PSP and be on your way, Come back later, after the film and I will charge you for it."
"Why how generous of you."
"It's our policy, here at Best Buy."
All stores ought to offer a coffee and danish.

I work on commission and don't do any of the stereotypical things. I'm very truthful and up front with people about things, and that tends to keep them coming to see me. I may lose a few bucks with the add on, but in the long run, I gain a long term customer.

Nope, and here's why. Next month, Gauntlet comes out for the DS, and you can get wi-fi play and voice chat to boot. I'm kicking newbie ass. :cmad:

Yeah, that's a lot different than saying nothing at all, which apparently is what Geo wants and did when he worked retail.

2 years of retailing in such a manner. Never had any trouble. :cwink: I would smile or whatever, it's not like I ran away from the people. But I didn't bother them.

I HATED my PSP when I had it. I bought it when it first came out a few years ago. I was so psyched to get one, but I hated it. It was too cumbersome, the graphics were take or leave, and to listen to any music or watch video you needed a memory card which at the time were around 100 dollars for 1GB. I spent like 500 dollars on it overall, and after about 4 months with it I realized it was useless. I sold it around 250 and bought an iPod, which I much preferred. My advice would be NO.

If you're into playing some pretty good to great games on the go, listen to music, watch video you convert for it, or are interested in hacking the hell out of it to run playstation, snes, n64 emulators among a million other things you can do with the original big psp (not with the slim version unless you have a hacked battery.) yeah i'd say it's worth it.

Nintendo BS is more like it.

Straight up, Nintendo have just f***ed up the game industry, I go to Gamestation & shake my head every week, now at least 80% of people there are either normal, under the age of 8, are parents, & all hovering around the Nintendo section, its wrong & I don't like it.
