a mask isn't always required for a dual identity to be in place

yea htat epsiode was for mthe new batman adventures [the sequel to BTAS] it was claled "Over the edge". The only real reason all hell broke loose, is that commisoner Jim gordon blamed batman for his daughters death. So after he checked bat-girls computer, that had all the dirt on the gotham knights, and so he went after Bruce at his home etc. I can't see something like that happeing in marvel, since marvel comics don't have the "young sidekicks" like DC jokinly has had for years.
Not since Bucky.

Falcon was a sidekick for awhile, even though he was an adult at the time. Black Panther had one too. And lets not forget Rick Jones. I don't think the Young Avengers count.

But that doesn't matter, there's nothing wrong with young sidekicks. Without it we wouldn't have Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Barbara Gordon, Roy Harper, the Winter Soldier, Wally West, etc, etc. Great characters that grew from basically kids running around in tights. Jokingly my ass.

Stan has said he always hated the idea of kid sidekicks. He saw it as child endangerment of the highest order.

i can see the mans point:ninja:

He didn't seem to have that problem with Xavier and the X-Men.

Or Spider-Man, or the Human Torch, who both started out as teenagers...

Robin was, in the origional stories, about thirteen when he started out. Spider-Man, The Human Torch, and the X-Men were all from 15-18 years old.

With powers to boot. Most sidekicks (at least traditionally) were powerless and barely hit puberty.

No, most kid side kicks had powers. Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Aqua Lad, Beast Boy. Kid heroes, with powers.

Hey, 13 - 15, doesn't matter. Still minors.

i've come to the realization that the reason why we're so pissed about Spider-Man going public is because it's such an illogical move

What's this "we're" stuff. I'm not pissed about it.

And it wasn't illogical with all of the build up that came to his taking off the mask. You just don't agree with the events that led him to come to the decision. :oldrazz:

I never denied this. I don't agree with ANY of it. And don't act like I'm alone in my thinking. You've been defending the unmasking for too long on too many fronts to think that.
