Is Toad in it?

Actualy i'm not to sure that its superspeed pursay, I think it may actualy be some sort of teleportaion, or maybe time manipulation.

It's not stupid...

They don't just make changes to piss people off..They typically have really good reasons for them and to call it a stupid change for the sake of calling it a deviation of the source material is a little foolish....Sometimes changes can end up becoming a good thing..

"The credits have someone named Lizard man I think Could this be him?"

Its Lizard Man. He has a scene in the novel where attempts to cause trouble at a clinic. Its not Toad.

Striker sure, but he was never to important, he was basicaly a character marked for death, but Deathstrike is NOT dead. If you remember correctly Deathstike was turned into a cyborg in the comics, thats why when you saw the adimantium liquid pour from her eyes it was a direct hint at her old look in the comics. Now do the math on that, metal conducts electricity, cyborgs depend on electricity, she now basicaly has an intire interwiring of the strongest metal on earth! Do you honestly think that when you combine that with a healing factor on par with Logans, that she would A. even be dead! and B. That the Weapon X program would allow her to die without experimenting on her in every possible way???? Trust me, if they make another X-Men movie, or the Wolverine spin off, you will see her once more........Sabretooth too! :)

Some good points...and it could be salvaged......But she was FILLED with adamantium.....FILLED. Did you hear her head when the hit the bottom.....Though she had adamantum bonded to her as well didn she? But she was filled with adamantium.....Oh and then she got buried at the bottom of the lake under the dam and all the water.

I'm not saying she wont be back...I'm just saying she could very wel be dead.

. How so?

Yeah.....Unless it's teleportation with a blur then I would have to go with super speed.

can someone post a screen-cap from the 7min preview? I want to see this

True..it wouldn't be hard fo them to throw him in and say something small like..are you ready son? or that's my son... but again you would have fans *****ing about Pietro not getting enough screen time...or they didn't do it right..or a number of things. I think them leaving him out completely was a good idea to avoid negative comments like that. This film has enough negative things going for it. With Callisto however...I kinda wished they hadn't beefed up her powers... I mean they're totally changing her character in every way just to make her what they want. They've done too much to her already... for one Callysto was white, 2 she didn't have super speed, 3 no eye patch, 4 I'm still wondering just how she'll play out as the leader of the morlocks.

I have to say, I don't like the addition of superspeed. They obviously did it to make her a match for Storm, to give her some physical, visual power. To have her able to detect mutants is fine as the comicbook version had enhanced senses. I'd rather they'd given Callisto something else.. like a forcefield to protect her, even the power to absorb energy and throw it back..but then you have to ask how Storm would defeat her, so i guess those wouldn't work.

There is obviously a logic in what they did with the character. It's not just random. But I do admit I feel a little uneasy about seeing Magneto with a superspeedster who isn't his son Quicksilver. Just as seeing Jean look so Scarlet Witch-like makes me a little regretful - it's like there's no place for Quicksilver or Scarlet Witch, Magneto's own kids...

Who said he'd be unconscious?
If the lightning bolt didn't knock him out, I doubt that hitting the water would.

hmmmmmmm, that would be interesting. I was very disapointed when I heard they weren't bringing back Sabretooth.
they did in X2 but they cut him out. On Logans way to alkali he stops at a gas station and sabretooth appears they fight, these soldiers come, take out sabretooth and sabretooth saves wolverine. But before that happend Sabretooth explained he had the exact same dreams as wolverine and they had the same dog tag except his said sabretooth. Anyway it was only like 3 scenes max.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

I hope you are disemboweled in your sleep.

What?

I thought Tyler Mane and Ray Park didn't come back for X2 b/c they were asking for too much money.

they were supposed to, dont hate the messenger. They even included it in the comic of the movie before it was released

Yeah, well they messed that up way back in X1 when they made Sabertooth nothing more than the superstrong villain. They're giving us a bigger stronger one in this film, so now there's no place for him. If Sabertooth was like his comic counterpart, he could have been a great character in this one.

I beg to differ with you very much so. I can think of several ways to re-introduce Sabertooth, and this time have them elucidate a little more on Sabes mutant abilities, like his healing factor. I cannot tell you how many times I want to throttle Movies Only fans when they tell me he's dead and puzzle as to why he just shrugged of Wolverine's claws. Plus they need to establish Sabertooth's credentials as Wolverine's arch-nemesis, which is something they failed to do in the first which very much disappointed me.

Sabretooth was wasted, much like I'm sure Juggernaut will be wasted.

He was wasted for good reason, IMO...

The movie would've been too sidetracked with characters if they made him too verbal and integral to the story...The movie wasn't about him so it wasn't necessary..

I haven't heard anyone complain about the movie not dealing with Mystique and Rogue's relationship (or Mystique and Sabes' relationship for that matter)...If you're gonna complain about something, complain about it equally...Don't just pick and choose your favorites..

Actually I have heard plenty of people complaining about that, I am one of them. I was severely disappointed with Rogue, definitely would've been cooler to have her be a baddie, but that bridge has been burned. IMO the storyline for the movies sucked, at least the second movie was an attempt at some kind of actual plot, but the first seemed like a forced attempt to expose everyone as "The X-Men."

As far as I am concerned, having characters just for the sake of having them is stupid. I'm not saying I wanted Sabes to have a little heart to heart or long drawn out speech and such, but at least have something of substance between him and wolverine aside from his homosexual obsession with his dogtags.

That just made me laugh so hard.
