Comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - Part 2

last time we saw Mac's dad, he ran off to Tijuana to get away from Mac..haha

Mac still trying to explain his father being gay as establishing dominance. LOL

This episode was gold.

I can't wait for chaseter to come in saying it's terrible.

I love that all it took for Dee to snap on a little girl and call her a "fat sl**" was the girl calling her a hooker. :lmao:

Of course Charlie doesn't know what cursive is. :hehe:

Not heavy on laughs this episode. Cool to see Luther again, though.

"I don't call him dad, I call him Mr. ****sucker 'cause he sucks so many *****."

:wow:

last night's episode was the weakest for me so far this season but it still made me laugh in a few scenes. the part when Dennis, Dee, & Frank are at Maureen's and the part when Charlie & Mac find out what happened from Charlie's mom comes to mind

Also no matter what it is you like, it can be linked to sex trafficking. :o

No the ep was funny. Maureen looked like a monster.

Gold? No. Don't be over dramatic.

I hate to say it, but I didn't care for this episode. I always love when Mac's dad appears, but the whole subplot with Bill being suicidal bored me. Dennis also seemed way too humane and empathetic instead of the sociopath he usually is. Probably the weakest episode this season, but I did love Bonnie's description of Luthor's last night of freedom. That was definitely the highlight.

It felt like the weakest of the season to me, but I still enjoyed it a lot.

Yeah, I agree with all saying it was the weakest. By no means a bad episode, but it wasn't that good. As the great Dennis once spoke on butthole play:

"It was pretty good. It was alright. It wasn't great."

What is the worst episode?

I literally can't remember a single thing about Frank's Brother (I think that's the title), but I just remember totally hating it. Some episodes are worse than others, but I generally enjoy damn near all of them. That one though is the only one that I actively dislike as far as I can recall.

I've read that multiples times on here and reddit with people not liking that episode. You're definitely on to something. I don't know though, I think I love that episode. "WELL AIN'T THIS SOME ****" and "Shady-Nasty" make me laugh every time.

I haven't seen it (as a relative newcomer, I'm trying to watch all the good to great episodes first (which would be most) before I dip into the lesser ones), but I heard it's mostly just Frank with very little screen-time for the Sunny gang.

I've also heard mixed things about 'The Gang Cracks the Liberty Bell.'

^ Just curious... why watch it that way though? Why not just watch them in order and see it for all its worth?

Because I'm a hedonist before I'm a completist. I want to see the classics everyone talks about first.

I've watched about 70 episodes in the last month since I got turned on to it. The episode that turned me on? The season premiere 'The Gang Beats Boggs.' I don't know why this doesn't get more love. Dee drunkenly promising she'll get "those Duke boys" to a hallucination of Boss Hogg (completely missing the entire point of the contest in the process) has to be one of the greatest TV laughs I've had outside of 'Curb your Enthusiasm' and 'Arrested Development.' That's when I was hooked.
