Well i'm a fan of Iron Fist, Dr. Strange and Namor, so them being in a book together is all kinds of awesome. Plus it's going to be great seeing Fraction write Iron Fist again, can't wait to see what he has in store for Danny.

Agreed, this story has some real potential. For some reason I also see him writing strange and namor well. He can go dickish with namor and his iron fist for some reason has me thinking he'll use strange well with power set.

Yeah I think Fraction will really be able to depict these characters personality wise, when you think about it they all have one that sets them apart. Namor with his arrogant attitude, Betty with her wild attitude and Danny with his zen demeanor...really loving this cast.

Also loved what Fraction had to say about Strange, all around solid stuff so far.

Fraction is a good writer, he hit a bad spot, he's due for something awesome again. Also a cowriter always helps with this stuff.

I wasn't planning on paying any attention to this comic based mostly on the fact that I think it's dumb having Silver Surfer on the team (really, do you need any of the other guys then?), and based on hating Red She Hulk, but I love Namor, like the rest of them, and then I realized Adam Hughes is drawing this and so now I HAVE to read it. That guy's art is friggin awesome. Just wish they'd have him drawing Spider-Man comics again. That stuff was gold.

I don't think I've seen Strange's fighting skills referenced anywhere since JMS' Strange origin mini. It will be interesting to see the interaction between Danny and Strange. Both have martial skills and mystical abilities, though each of them is obviously more advanced in one area than the other.

It hit me that the only stable, monogamous couples in Marvel are the Richards and the Cages. Everyone else is a free wheeling bachelor or bachelorette who sleeps around with anyone of the opposite sex.

Sure, Hazmat and Mettle seem stable, but give an editor time.

Grad-banging aside, I hate that this is actually starting to look pretty good. I'll likely be buying this. I've dropped a few books lately (Daken, O.M.A.C., Animal Man, JLI, and DC Comics Presents) so I should have room.

Y'know what I thought was "cool"? When Strange was dating Night Nurse in THE OATH.

Then Bendis made it look cheap and sleazy in NEW AVENGERS, and now it's over.

I'll wait till the comic actually drops. Apparently Fraction's story for the Defenders in Point One was really good, so it seems like he's headed in the right direction with this series.

The Point One Dr. Strange strip was...okay. Not exceptional but not horrid for me. But maybe that's because I'm not a fan of Dr. Strange.

Usually, taking a plunge on a team book for one character is a mistake I have almost always regretted, but...it's Iron Fist, damn it. And Fred Van Lente's mini didn't sell well enough to get an ongoing.
