I’m very interested the sun and moon series bored the hell outta me and the trails were daft, so this looks like a balance

Plus yellow was my first ever pokemon game got it and a yellow game boy colour while on hols in the states, so a remake has always been something I want

The Pokemon Quest game they just launched is pretty fun. I'm enjoying it quite a bit and it's not monetized all to hell so I don't feel like they're screwing me. Definitely check it out.

So it looks basically like a remake of Gen 1, but on the Switch with 3D gameplay.

So they confirmed Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu have online battles and trading. I'm getting it. I'm more of a Pikachu than an Eevee fan. I do like Vaporeon. That tanky mother****er.

I'm on the fence as to which I choose. If it's a remake of Yellow it seems necessary to go Pikachu.

Based on more info of the meeting, it sounds like Pokemon is going to have two core lines now. Let's Go, for the more casual/younger crowd with simpler mechanics, and the traditional new generations, which is what we are getting next year.

The co-op sounds fun, and I hope that makes it to the gen VIII game next year.

Isn’t that interesting, I’m more of an eevee person.

In a few years, in order to get to know each other better, people will be asking each other on first dates if they’re more of an eevee or pikachu person

So a Poke Tuber did a video about an article by The Gamer about someone data mining the beta to Gold and Silver. It revealed unused evolutions for Farfetch'd, Qwilfish, and Pinsir. Along with a baby Pokémon for Meowth, Ponyta, Tangela, and Growlithe. Also the final evos for the original starters.

The Pokemon Company has clarified the online functionality of the upcoming Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee.


In a statement to Game Informer, The Pokemon Company said that while both games will feature online capabilities, they will be limited compared to previous games.

• Players will only be able to battle and trade Pokemon with friends.
• “There is no GTS, Wonder Trade, or Battle Spot (Rating Battle, Free Battle, and Online Competition, etc.),” the company said.
• Players will also need to sign up for a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to access these features.

Additional information on the games’ online capabilities will be announced at a later date.
Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee are due out for Switch worldwide on November 16.

Customize Pikachu and Eevee.

The official Japanese Twitter account for Pokemon information has shared new footage and screenshots of partner Pokemon accessories in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!


Players will be able to attach accessories such as ribbons and flowers to the ears, chest, back, and tail of their partner Pokemon (Pikachu or Eevee).
Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are due out for Switch worldwide on November 16.

I have to say, Let's Go is looking really good.

That is looking good. I'm assuming it'll be just like Yellow, where you can get the other Kanto starters as well. They showed them in the gameplay, so really hope that's true.
