Does Ash still use Pikachu? I know he's been swapping out his other 5 for each of the new generations, but I'm not sure about the pikachu.
 
Why in the hell haven't they announced the release dates for Black and White Version 2? Nintendo showed another trailer for it and just said it was coming this fall, but thats it.
 
Maybe they're denying it's existence & then drop it on us later, like they did with the 3DS XL. :o:cmad:

It wouldn't surprise me. I just don't understand why companies withhold release dates. Doesn't make much sense to me.
 
Maybe because they haven't decided on an exact release date yet? It's better to have them say "Fall 2012" than give us a solid date and end up having to push it back.

They're waiting on everyone to buy up the 3DS XL... then, before Christmas, they'll launch a Pokemon B/W2 super sexy bundle edition.

Book it.

Heck even the fights have become less innovative. Now it's literally identical to a standard match in any of the games vs the NPC. I remember in the earlier episodes that wasn't the case and battles would be far more intricate in the sense that the trainer could do more complex commands that weren't directly from the game. Even the lingo of Ash's gang when they watch him battle now is along the lines of "Wow that's a critical hit" and "That attack was super effective", "He's now paralyzed so he can no longer move". While the anime was always there to promote the video game it's clear that the creative flare the show once had really started to diminish for an ultra reverence to the games and act as a never ending instruction manual for the games. You're also right about Ash getting dumber too. He conveniently forgets what makes a trainer strong and whatnot so he can be given a speech by a supposedly wise character. Thing is he figured out that having a good relationship with his Pokemon is important a long time ago yet Ash responds by saying "Powerful pokemon make a powerful trainer!"......things like that show that any sort of mental or emotional growth is thrown by the wayside every time he goes to a new region and gets rebooted like a damn computer.

The anime should have probably gracefully bowed out a while ago instead of lobotomizing Ash and keeping him on life support for the money.

Agreed; and better yet, if they didn't want to end the show, at least give fans a new protagonist for each new region/generation that they explore. Heck, the fact that they were able to make such a kick ass anime trailer for Black and White 2 says that they're capable of still doing something worthwhile.
 
Early animu had good fillers too. Remember that giant Tentacruel that thrashed the resort city and that giant Dragonite? If you still want some poke world outside of the games, go with the Pokemon Special/Pokemon Adventures manga.

I read that there's going to be a distribution of Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle for Black 2/White 2.
 
Just read a bunch of the details on Pokebeach. I really like what I'm seeing so far.
 
So gotta a question for you Pokefans. I'm building a team in Black right now and I'm not sure what I should have as my 6th. My team thus far is
Weezing
Hitmonlee
Donphan
Lapras
Hydreigon.
I'm thinking of a fire or electric type, but completely unsure.
 
So I bought Pokemon Rumble Blast as a blind purchase a few days & I read a few reviews on it & it got a mixed bag, some postive, some negative. Is the game good?

A little late to the party.. but... I bought Pokemon White at work the other day for 19 bucks.
 
Yeah, I work at Sears and we don't sell that many games... so every few weeks new games go on super clearance.

So, it was marked down from 34.99 to 19.07. Thinking about getting Heart Gold and Soul Silver too.. Can that Pokewalker be used with ALL Pokemon? Or only those in HG/SS?
 
Has anyone played Pokemon Conquest, the great reviews its getting caught me off guard and now I'm thinking about getting it

It is surprisingly fun. I'm enjoying it a lot. The battles are a lot slower paced than regular Pokebattles, but more rewarding. I love the strategy aspect and the story/setting. Definitely worth checking out.
