Curious, for those who have completed the main story line for either X or Y, what did you guys personally think of it and how would you compare it against past pokemon story lines for the previous generations' games?

Also, is there anything significant to do after the main story? Something like how Diamond and Pearl had you looking with Looker for the remnants of Team Plasma?

So, apparently I'm reading that there's a glitch that saving inside Luminous City can crash your game and make you lose progress. Saving inside buildings is fine. Anyone here encounter this? I just got there myself, saved inside Sycamore's lab.

This is a tough one. It's more darker, there's that. The villains are more twisted because they have that disconnect where they seem harmless and they don't feel like a threat, but when you find out what they aim to do... damn! but it doesn't beat you over the head too much, so there's not so many villain speeches except a few. To me personally, I preferred the Kanto and Johto adventures together as one story - in terms of story only, though.

There's apparently not much post-game content in this one But there is a Looker thing after the game. Also, someone mentions Professor Oak's grandson in the main game, so I'm not sure if he's in the post-game.

What exactly do you want to know? Like, any specific questions?

I just read on NeoGAF about this. I've saved multiple times and didn't have a problem, but Nintendo themselves acknowledged this and stated that there'd be a patch soon. It happens when you load a save and it makes you lose your progress. Very bad so it's recommended that no one saves inside Lumiose City, especially in those places with the weird camera angles.

Just got this last night! My team so far is Bulbasaur, Froakie, Combusken, Pikachu, and Pidgey. Haven't decided on a good sixth yet.

My goal for the first night was to get up to where I can choose Bulbasaur, now it's game on.

Well, we've never seen a villain killed in a Pokémon game before, so there was that.

Pretty decent story resolution, it was fairly dark compared to toher games, and had it succeeded, it would have

Haven't gotten into the Post Game, since I'm starting my second X and my Y versions now. But I have beaten my first X.

After using Chespin for an entire game, I can assess...its not for me. Fennekin and Froakie are next.

The best thing they did for this game was give you the ability to breed Pokemon early, search for Pokemon you haven't encountered yet, and add the Wonder Trade. 25 hours in and I only have 2 badges. I've spent most of my team searching for Pokemon, breeding Eevees to raise and trade as Espeon and Umbreons. It's also fun to use Wonder Trade. Even if I get garbage, I like trading something cool to someone.

I like it. I got a pretty good Japanese Honedge out of Wonder Trade, but it depressed me when its name changed to English when it evolved. I'll likely not be using it much because I prefer my guys to be nicknamed.

Just don't put anything of value. It's mainly there so people who have a lot of leftover Pokemon from breeding can do something besides releasing them or spending a lot of time looking on GTS.

Even though I already had an awesome Gyarados, I bred another Gyarados just to name him 'Heisenberg'.

Also, this great game would've been the best if everything ran at 60fps.

I read about a dude whose Braixen got PokeRus; later his whole team had it. Delphox's design is growing on me. Seeing it in action, it looks a little better than the first leaked image, where the proportions seemed off.
