Beware of the foul language but Farina just oozes jameson

Farina could play Jameson with serious dark humour that doesn't turn into a cheap circus joke. His Jameson I can easily see being involved creating scorpion.

Eh, not really feeling Farina. I can absolutely see the support behind him, but that train passed about a decade ago. This is how he looks now:

J.J. isn't a young guy, but I do think that is a bit old looking for the role. It's a supporting role, anyway. And not typically a hard one to cast. I'm sure they'll find someone suitable.

You guys are nitpicking. Farina looks fine. Make up can do wonders. Just look at Simmons. Before SM1, if i had post a pic of JK Simmons on the set of Hbo's OZ tv show, showing him with his bald head, ppl would have laughed me right off this thread. Make-up can and will do wonders for Farina.

Exactly. A haircut/dye would suffice.

Look at what they did with Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart in X3, and Brad Pitt in Benjamin Button to name a few examples. Not that much makeup would be needed anyway.

But he could still be humorous. As well as giving a slight edge to him that the guy who is basically responsible for the existence of the Scorpion would need. I don't think I could've bought that other guy in the Raimi movies doing something like that. It would've been too out of character. And I really want to see the Scorpion at some point.

They have no excuse not to explore the Scorpion / Jameson storyline in this rebooted stories. It would fit rather nicely.

Yes, he was absolutely Spot On with his portrayal. I would definitely support his return.
