Any good Bond films with bad theme songs? Can't think of one I like. If the movie is as bad as the song, we might have a riot on our hands.

Nearly three hours is..insane.

Skyfall is a great movie but the movie had some pacing issues (at least to me). But nearly 3 hours?

The part I would have actually cut from Skyfall is the casino scene. A bit of a pointless scene, that is mostly camp.

I hope the movie is not 3 hours. Some parts of Skyfall dragged. I'm from Scotland and I know the highlands are pretty but we don't need to see Bond and M stare at the hills for what feels like 15 minutes.

Not close to 15 minutes.

Personally, I found the third act to be a bit of perfection in Skyfall. Flaws in the first two acts imo, but it was perfect. Great tone.

Yeah I'm thinking the problem with the song is Sam Smith's voice. I guess I don't like his style, especially when he goes into 'Alvin' mode, which was jarring because it didn't fit the the tone of the rest of the music.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree. It's a pretty underwhelming song. It's way too ballad-y for what's essentially a tentpole spy-action movie. It lacks personality and needs more energy.

I can't think of good ones with bad songs, but there's been a few good songs for bad films. A View to a Kill-awful, awful film that will test your faith in humanity's right to exist, but the song is pretty snappy.

I wish Adele made this song. It's note completely Smith's fault, but I don't think his voice is strong or versatile enough to overcome such an underwhelming production choice to go with a ballad.
