AWTD at least had a beat. Drums. Something to make it pop. And it was mediocre, but not terribly bad like...this.

I don't think so. Every great Bond film has had an equally great theme. That's part of the reason the films themselves are so good.

Don't love this song. That said, the whole "wrote it in 20 minutes" argument really doesn't bear mentioning.
Some of the best songs of all time were written quickly.

I personally just hate that kind of reveal and its been a lame trend. The John Blake one is just silly though. Several Robins to choose one and they make one that's literally just named Robin and then play it off as a reveal. Its a wetfart at the end of the movie.
Can't be worst than Madonna's 'Die Another Day'. Even the director said he hated that, but the studio made him use it because they had a deal with Madonna....
There have been a few meh Bond films with incredible themes however. Diamonds are Forever is an example. I personally love that movie but I know it's not amongst the "best".I don't think so.
