I'm watching this on BBC America (Yah, I know it's edited to ****, but it's better than nothing untill the DVD arrives) and am REALLY digging it so far.

Yeah its very good, I missed a few of the episodes when it aired over here so im considering picking the dvd up today.

Waiting for the DVD myself. Trailer looks amazing, just like Robin Hood.

You're more patient than I am to wait for the DVD. I just finished the second episode, and I was surprised by how much happens in 50 (or so) minutes, until I learned that it's only six episodes.

If only American networks would take note. If people are clamoring for more episodes, you'd be stupid not to, but most ideas for TV shows don't really warrant 13 or 22 or 26 episodes per season.

LOVE this show. The actor does an amazing job...I sure hope more americans catch it. They are missing out otherwise.

Nesbitt is awesome, but the plot seems like typical BBC hokeyness.

The trailer to Robin Hood looked amazing...The actual show however....

its the same plot EVERY week. There is absolutely no series arc or progression!

Exactly! It was a constant "Right then lads! Lets go save Marion, steal some crap from the Sheriff, and then finish of by sitting by a fire in the woods!"

I'm sure they only filmed one 'sherriff of nottingham' reaction scene and used it at the end of each episode. 'i would have succeeded if it weren't for you meddling merry men (and token ethnic minority woman)'

I'll still watch the 2nd series though....:csad:

Robin Hood would be a great show if you only caught 3 episodes of it. The first episode, any single random episode in the middle, and the last episode.

Jekyll is awesome, though. Nesbitt gives quite possibly one of the best performances I've seen on the BBC America. Hyde is so over the top, it's just right. And I love the subtle touches they did to make Jackman distinct from Hyde. The hair, the jaw, the contact lenses. It's enough to make you think it's the same man, but know which person you're dealing with.
