I want nolan to do the "Raimi" thing ala spidey punching through sandman. You know have classic moments like that.

There was plenty of that in BB. So I'm sure there will be some classic Joker moments.

Batman and Joker never eally fought though. it was more one sided with Batman kicking the crap out of Joker most of the time. Joker's not much of a fighter lol, he is more of a schemer.

Hell, I though old Jerry R. was dead by now, silly me. They will probably just run some things by him. Though if Jett pulled that from WIKI then I don't know. If wiki reported it after Jett then ok, but WIKI is crap.

It does show, if it's accurate, that Nolan and WB and DC are really trying to make this franchise as accurate as possible, loving it.

So yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing the Joker as a dirty scrapper, since that's what he originally was portrayed as. He's a killer, he should at least know how to take out most normal people. And maybe get in a few good hits on Batman.

Yea that's the idea at least for me. I mean joker will probably have a few henchmen which will be Iam assuming ex-arkham inmates psychos freaks, but after all joker is the main villain and as smart he can be there should be some physicality to him, I mean we have seen batman kick joker ass in batman 89. Now I wanna see a big fight that goes both ways batman of course will kick joker's ass in the end. But since this joker will be darker like it was originaly meant by BOB Kane himself, i think we should see joker being much more physical than jack nicholson's version. Not that much with his fist but instead using classic weapons like the crowbar knifes, and my favorite and one we have never seen onscreen before on his hands, the ol' sledge hammer. I wanna see joker hit bats with it causing some damage with knifes and eveerything he can against batman. And then batman coming back hurt but very angry like a beast going berserk on the joker. In batman 89 bats was scratch and bloodied because he crashed the batwing. This time he should get beat trashed by the joker and then come and fight him back.

If done well it could be one of the greatest and most iconic fights in a comicbook based film ever.

Also for the subject of Nolan pulling a "Raimi" and use shots in his movies that are straight from the comic...Nolan has already done that. Infact in the behind the scenes on the DVD they show pictures from the movie and the comic book back to back.

The one that comes to my mind first, of course, is the Flass interogation - basically a direct pull from Batman: Haunted Knight.

I have no doubt that we will get the iconic scene of Batman, Harvey and Gordon around the Bat-light.

Anyways this just makes my appreciation for Nolan go even higher. It shows that he wants a quality movie and respects the comic book material .

I think this should be the standard at WB ( or for that matter all studios). Future comic book movies need to have a consultant who knows the story material and work with the writers on the script.

My thoughts :

They were probably still coping with the lost interest in comic book movies. You had a period where the industry just bombed and i think in the late 80's , early 90's things started to pick up again as comics matured with the likes of Frank Miller and Alan Moore.

Besides the producers/directors call the shots. If they feel that they don't need the writers , then it won't happen. What you see now is that the generation who read the more mature books are basically wanting to respect those comics they read.
Which is why you have people like Nolan and Robert Rodriquez and Zach Snyder.

Times change.

Since joker will probably work alone most of the time I would love to see him being very physical, I want him to do some stuff from the first comics like, shooting down three of four cops with two guns, and a couple of thugs go after him and he takes them down one by one. He throws a knife at a machinegun wielding thug and then grabs the machine gun and then sprays two or thee down, then when he runs out of bullets he takes a crow bar and hits them with it In the fight against batman he hsould use knifes oh he should also use a gun that shoots smilegasfilled darts. and also something that I think must be in their fight is joker slamming batman in the chest with a sledgehamer sending him back as batman crashes through a glass door. also I would like to see joker hit batman a couple of times with his fist.
