So Jessica will have already had some experience as a Superhero when we see her to start her Netflix series.

I wonder if she knows any of these guys:

I hope she didn't work for Shield. The organization runs the risk of being overused.

I prefer if she was just inspired to take up being a superhero after witnessing the battle of New York and getting powers. After a few months of taking down street criminals she runs into Purple Man, has traumatic experiences with him like in the comics and then retires to become a PI who suffers from PTSD.

One thing that I realized is that Purple Man is Jess' only villain. Most of her stories revolve around being a private detective or reporter with flight powers instead of fighting bad guys. Her stories are far more grounded than anyone else in the Marvel U and that isn't a bad thing, it's just that future seasons are going to focus more on the drama with little to no action.

I imagine this will be one of the Marvel shows that will only get one season, and then the character will join Luke Cage in his series. Part of me expects JJ, Cage and Iron Fist to come together in a Heroes for Hire show after Defenders.

The actress plays the titular character in Marvel and Netflix’s upcoming Jessica Jones series, which follows an ex-superhero who starts anew as a private eye in Hell’s Kitchen. But showrunner Melissa Rosenberg tells ETonline we may still see Jessica as Jewel or Knightress, two of her failed alter egos.

Jessica will have company in the strong female character department, though, as Rosenberg confirmed one major Daredevil crossover. “I think I'm allowed to say: Rosario Dawson will be dropping in,” she revealed.

I'm betting we'll see Claire through the hospital. Very interested in seeing how they use locations from DD again. Would love to see guys like Mahoney and Turk (praying he escaped ) too.

I don't know. I like the idea of a second season based on The Pulse, which could work really well now that we have the Daily Bugle. Also, keep in mind Rosenberg was prepping this for ABC, which implies she had multiple seasons in mind.

I wish could a release date. In the meantime, I'll go back and rewatch Daredevil a 2nd time.

Daredevil's promotions started 3-4 months before it's release date. If JJ is to be released late this year surely they will start promoting the show around this time?

If it's around December which for some reason it seems more likely to me, it could take a month from now to start showing some promos and even two months to finally see a trailer. That is if they follow a similar schedule to DD. Hope it's sooner though.
