That will never happen.
Too expensive. Too timely. Too complicated.
Unless Bale and Routh have options in their contracts for a JLA movie, they would both command a significant portion of the profits from a JL movie made together. Any new actors for the stand-alone movies would probably command a similar feature to have the JL movie option in the contracts.
What we'd end up with is a bunch of actors that most people are comfortable with from different franchises that have completely different artistic visions that stand around with a butt-load of dialogue and no action (because the special FX budget would be minimal). No business-minded person is going to waste money on all those actors' premiums in lieu of having a good film with good production value (and action -- they've probably learned from SR's mistakes) just to satisfy a few rabid fanboys. They will, as they should, pay a low fee to newbies who can pull off the role in a fresh imagining of the characters while putting in a ton of action and special FX. It also gives them newer, and expanded ways to license the characters for merchandise, etc.
What you all are suggesting will N E V E R happen. Ever. Never ever.
They do have options for a teamup movie. At least I know Bale does.

SPACE MONKEYS RULE ...right?
