I'm wondering whether Joe Wright took some more inspiration from OUAT too. At least the CGI will look a LOT more polished than that show...

Do we know how Hugh will be playing Blackbeard? Hugh can be so charismatic and fun that losing that for a super serious villain would defeat the purpose of casting him imo. Him getting to bring some of his showmanship to the role would thrill me.

I wasn't really planning on seeing this movie, but I might now, just for the sake of Garrett Hedlund.

I like Mara, she's a really good actress. But boy, if they thought that this would make her look even remotely Native American, then they did a TERRIBLE job of it.

The colorful opulence of Pan reminds me of Hook and 2003's Peter Pan in some respects. Not a bad thing.

Im confused why Jackman is playing Blackbeard but he seems like he's just playing Hook.

Hedlund, at least in the trailer, seemed terrible. Just terrible.

I dont really check for or watch all these new live action fairy tale movies. This doesnt look like it'll change my mind

Mara is well respected but I dont feel that she's going to bring in that much of an audience/a different demographic.

My nephews know him from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
