Joe Wright to Helm 'Pan'

Yeah, there's also Elementary, Man of Steel, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, and I wouldn't be surprised if the upcoming Little Mermaid live-action movie is titled "Ariel" or something like that.

Elementary makes sense though, with the branding because you already have the Downey films (titled Sherlock Holmes), and then got BBC's Sherlock.

They'll just call it Mermaid. Easy for folks to remember, with a twinge of dark and edgy.

:o

Mermaid, directed by Sofia Coppola?

People will think it's some lame little indie movie starring Ryan Gosling as an out of work writer who *********es to fish porn or something. :o

Stay out of my head!!! :argh:

Whatever else happens with this film, Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard sounds awesome as hell.

This might be interesting. The 2003 Peter Pan was pretty good.

And the most obvious "dark gritty reboot" title for a TLM adaptation is....Ariel. Go for it.

I forgot about Les Mis. Probably because by the time she was in it Cosette had become the least interesting thing about the movie.

Well....Les Mis wasn't that bad. Neither was Lovelace, from what I hear. idk, she's not really an actor I keep close tabs on.

Seyfried is not Lohan. Lovelace, Chloe, etc. She does good work. Don't count the romcoms.

Chloe was a film that had my full attention!

Lol but I honestly thought it had an intriguing plot, even without the erotic parts

Yes, Chloe was an interesting movie, and not just because or the
Amanda Syfried/Julianne Moore sex scene.
She was also in Les Mis, Mean Girls, Lovelace, Alpha Dogs, and she's going to replace Mila Kunis in Ted 2. One thing that I've noticed about Seyfried is that, while she's been in a lot of not so good movies, she's usually the best thing about those movies, or at least one of the best things.

Lord, and I thought the beard was bad...

We've seen him bald already. Was wondering what he was growing that beard out for, had forgot about this.

Hugh Jackman looks like Jackie Earle Haley with the shaved head and full beard. Kinda scary, but it makes him unrecognizable.
