Anyone have ideas for Sofia Falcone’s casting? I’m always stuck on that one.

granted I'm not exactly suggesting this woman can act or should play character. But visually the wrestler Nia Jax has always reminded me Sofia Falcone because I always imagined she was huge.

Again, I'm not suggesting she be hired for the role, I'm not one to go casting any wrestlers in CBMs unless they truly deserve it.

I’m personally a fan of the idea of making Sofia the bully big sister to Selina and emphasizing that - whether they go full Long Halloween and cast and intimidating woman as Sofia or go full Gotham and get a model-esque actress.

Personally, I’d like a looming actress opposite Kravitz; given her height, that wouldn’t be too much of a struggle.

It’s possible but with Selina there, I doubt they will ignore it. Even if this version doesn’t have Alberto/Mario/Sofia at least they can establish Selina as his daughter. In The Batman or a Catwoman spin-off.

I'm really not buying just yet into the theory that she'll be his daughter in this version lol.
And I really doubt we'll see the rest of the Falcone family. I think this version of Falcone will probably be less "Don Corleone" than the comics, seeing how much emphasis there is in making everything contemporary and realistic

It’s a huge missed opportunity if you have Selina Kyle in the same film as Carmine Falcone, and don’t bother connecting them. Especially when you want to write them differently from the Hathaway version, and Long Halloween/Dark Victory is a huge influence.

It's just that from what we know about this movie being from Batman's PoV and Riddler being the main villain, I think the movie will be more focused on those two than in any potential subplots about Selina being a lost daughter. I mostly just imagine Falcone and Penguin having similar roles to the gangsters in TDK. I also think the whole TLH/Dark Victory angle has beeen waaaaay overstated, I don't think it'll be as profound as many seem to think because again, this movie seems to be a movie about Batman vs The Riddler.

Catwoman is said to have many scenes. May be more screen time than the main villain, Riddler. The plot is tied to Riddler but I think the movie is mainly about Bruce and Alfred. But you’re right about the POV part. They don’t have to dive deep into it, just acknowledge a strong connection between Selina and Carmine.

Dude, funny you say that because five years ago when I saw Sopranos, she was the only actress I could think of for the part. But would try to ignore it because she’d be too old. So weird that her brother is now playing Carmine.

Screw it, change Sofia to Carmine’s sister and have Selina as the eldest daughter. Alberto can be a early 20’s weirdo brat.

I actually think it'd be cooler if it was Maroni who Batman took out in Year One, leading to a Falcone that's so paranoid he borders on schizophrenic over this Bat creature who's trying to hunt him down
