batman7289 said:I think Nolan should go with another actor not well known. So I am so not wanting Jake Gyhenall to play joker. Maybe Liev Schriber. And Peguin should be played by Bob Hoskins. Not a comic joker or comic joker like the ****ty ones Tim Burton made. I loved Batman Begins it was more darker and "scarier" Thaks
Fantastic PIcs where did you get the pic from? The Techno Bat said:I would love to see a pure evil, and diabolical Joker on the big screen, if he is choosen next for the sequel. (I'd rather see other villian first.) But if they went with The Joker I like the look of him in the Batman Dead End Short Film:

I think that is a great look with the straight jacket, but eventually get him out of the straight jacket and into the famous purple attire, but not a bright purple, more of a dark purple. And of course he would have to be insanely funny, not too campy or over the top, but just insane to the point where your like whoa, and it sends shivers down your spine when your watching him on the screen.
I am not really sure who I would go with for an actor on The Joker, I will get back to you on that one.
Great official Joker thread by the way.

Collora got his character spot-on.

made me want to barf.
Nivek said:But Bettany with Lime Green hair wearing lipstick screams more like The Joker to you?
I really dont understand why Batman fans dont want characters to look faithful. DE Joker was faithful to the appearence in the comics recently. Some of these Bettany manips and comments lead me to believe that some of you would be content with him as is, with Pale blotchy skin, lime green 'copper bowl" hair, wearing red lipstick and a plain suit. That aint the Joker, he resembles the character in DE more along the lines of the source material. He isn't a Drag-esqe Eddie Izzard look-a-like frowner.
Maxwell Smart said:I don't really like the lipstick idea. To make his lips turning red more realistically, you could go for a more crimson-esque color, and perhaps make his lips look a bit weathered, almost disfigured. Bloated. Enflamed.
As for the hair... suspension of disbelief. I mean you do have to have a little... and I don't think it would be too big of a stretch that his hair turns green.
StorminNorman said:I just dont think that the Joker using lipstick or dying his hair hurts the character at all. The white skin though is a must IMO.
spanish39 said:there is way too much insight on these pages lmao. Who cares if The Joker dyes his hair, come on guys it's just a freaking character. No one thinks about this kind of stuff except for the posters here lol. Do we need to know what if Joker wears boxers or briefs too?
StorminNorman said:The hair, lips, face need to be a certain color - its a big part of the character. As Kat said though, there doesnt need to be an explination about it though.
Batman said:The green hair is part of the character, like the horns to Batmans mask is part of why he's calls himself Batman. I for one, DO care. I don't think Tim Burton had the same thought when he made Joker appear in 89, he knew it was one of the characters attributes, and kept true to the comics.
I'm sure Nolan is going to do the same.
