Unfortunately its got a really crap system where you can't make one until you've had a certain number of posts. I think its 200 for a sig..

it wasn't always like that here. You came after the change.

i don't think he's a good choice simply because i don't think he's whacky enough to play Joker.. but thats just me though.

he certainly has the look though.

He's not wacky enough outside of acting? He's an actor, and a damn good one, I'm sure he could pull it off. In Sin City when
Jackie Boy is having the conversation with Dwight in the car.
I think he could :D

Benicio Del Toro could play Joker I saw him in The Funeral co starting Christopher Walken, Del Toro's peformance was short but good I saw in Blow I think and Snatch as well he's good actor.

hey yo its sean said:
What accent are all of you referring to? Del Toro doesn't have a damn accent.

What accent? who said that? some saying that he could play the part.

It wasn't very strong, but I could still hear it, specifically when he was in the hallway before Shellie let him in.

Tim Roth is 42! So, Marsters is old then Tim Roth. WOW!

Tim Roth is perfect, and that's a fact!

Your opinion=!fact

Give us an example of ONE role Tim Roth has played that shows he can do The Joker. Because I can provide a perfect example for Del Toro: Jackie Boy in Sin City.

Reading comprehension>you

I didn't say he didn't have any good roles. He doesn't have any roles that suggest he could play that particular type of role(The Joker).

Del Toro does.

What Do Ppl Think Aout My Opinion Damn It!!!!

I believe his role in Resevoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction is ample enough to suggest that Tim Roth can indeed do dark characters, he would be a good choice in my opinion, but at this stage, all's we can do is speculate.

Cesar Romero for The Joker. I know he's dead, but if Sky Captain can bring back a dead actor, so can the Batman franchise.

Nice of you to have to resort to personal attacks...

...you asked to give an example of a movie where it shows Roth can play the Joker and I named plenty. Just because YOU (and only you) don't think any of those movies show he can play the Joker doesn't make it so. You'd be more of a man if you actually watch those movies with an open mind and try to picture him as the Joker instead of just dismissing ANY movie he's EVER been in without even giving a 2nd though.

As far as Del Torro being the Joker...I wouldn't have anything against it, but Roth is still one of my faves.

If we have to go for a CGI recreate of a dead actor, I'd rather it was Basil Rathbone or Jeremy Brett than Ceasar Romero.

It's almost a shame that Gary Oldman is playing Gordon...I think he would have made a marvelously crazed Joker!

But I'm glad he's Gordon.

I do like the idea of Del Toro or Daniel Day Lewis (although Lewis would never do it).

i want to see Del Toro be the ideal version of Bane actually. All he has to do is bulk up! He has the acting chops, is Latin....and is tall enough. Plus he has experience doing excellent fighting scenes and trained for the movie The Hunted!

Yeah, Oldman had been my first choice for Joker up to the point he was cast as Gordon.

Daniel Day-Lewis would be awesome as Sinister, but Ican't really see any Batman vilians that fit him.

i'd rather Conrad Veidt

The ideal bane? He's the same height as Bale and no way could he get much bigger than him muscle-wise. It defies logic to envision him as the ideal Bane, at least on a physical level. In what way would he be ideal for the character other than just as a voice?
