Got a message from someone I know in Cali who has worked with Mr. Glover.

"i talked to crispin's agent today, and they're still negotiating his part for the next batman"

I suspect this is also the case for Hulme and Bettany

I don't think anyone has any reason not to believe me, but I will say (with my own SHH! reputation on the line) that this isn't speculation, but 'fact'.

Still, I'm surprised WB is already going after guys, without Nolan or any other director for that matter attached to the film. Perhaps they want to get a few guys down as far as contracts go, for a shortlist at least.

His background isn't totally unknown. There are two or three very possible theories. All of them have him being american.

There are four people that I think would do a really good jod as the Joker. This is in no particular order:

Jonny Depp
Mark Hamill
Alan Cumming
Viniseal Del Torro

The others mentioned here would probably do a good job as well. It's just that I don't know that much about them.

I was watching a show this morning called "daily buzz", according to them Paul Bettany has been cast as the joker. Anyone else watch the show this morning?

Yeah, that's what I figured, but it caught my attention this morning when they announced it on the show. I think he's the best possible choice - he's got the height, build, and he showed potential in "beautiful mind" to be maniacal.

I was just on AICN and they said that a british tabloid mentionned that Sean Penn was being considered by Nolan to play the Joker... we'll see.
