Lol! He might be able to pull it off. His performance as V was excellent and he was so limited.

But don't remind me of Matrix Revolutions

Even though its an extremely slim chance and he's played Wolverine, what do you think of Hugh Jackman for the Joker role?

He's had theatre background, he has an awesome laugh, awesome smile, tall and slim build....
I like the choice

Me too. I think Jackman could do a great job but the chances are low, having already been Wolverine, it's nearly impossible. It's like Toby McGuire being a villian in a Batman movie.

It sucks, he would pwn too, and the Bale vs Jackman scenes would be great. It would be cool in a way that it is with Topher and Tobey, they both look kinda similar. Almost like an evil twin :o

I'm glad to hear Weaving and Law are being considered for Joker. Plus we have the "underdog" in Hulme still around!

I couldn't see Jackman as Joker ....perhaps Dent....but not Joker. I'm hope though Jackman is not involved......he is way to heavily involved in the X Men series and the upcoming Wolverine solo film to be a character in a Batman film for me. I wonder if Gyllenhaal and Schrieber are indeed the frontrunners for Dent now? From what it seems....they may actually be. Interesting indeed....

meh, hair cut, and a little more insanity added, this was a quick search too :o

If Weaving is in good enough shape (we don't want a chubbsy Joker like in 89)
can grow a bit more hair....I know that sounds weird, but I think the Joker looks creepier with shaggier hair, and have a good enough grin, Im alright with him. But it seems like WB's using Weaving for too many wacky roles

Jackman is a fine actor. And he's Wolverine and all.

But Weaving... I have heard many names for a Nolan's Joker and Weaving is the opnly one that makes me smile like a nutcase.

that would be the Weaving joker I'd like to see, my ideal choice is still Jackman, even though it wont happen :(

What would people think about Brent Spiner? His work as Lor on Star Trek makes me think he could be a really cool Joker.

Weaving can certainly look like that basically the Alex Ross version..because of the receding hairline and we know Weaving can have a crazy smile.....

Both of you are incredibly gullible. Blair is the most suppine and gutless leader this country has ever had. The Labour prime minister Harold Wilson faced exactly the same situation with the Vietnam crisis as Blair did with Iraq. And do you know what? He stood up for British interests and refused to become involved. Margaret Thatcher, probably our most pro-American prime minister, fulminated against President Reagan after he invaded Granada.

If the Conservatives had been "in charge" in the period between 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq in 2003, then we would have seen a much slower and more diplomatic path to war, with more parliamentary consideration, and some idea of an exit strategy. As it is, Blair gave no consideration to any single aspect of the war or the "peace" that would follow. As a result, we have become the yapping terriers of a moronic American president, in a needless war that has led to tens of thousands of deaths while sewing the seeds of Islamic terrorism all over the world- even in our own cities.

I do not say that the Conservatives would have handled the situation better because I am a conservative; I say it because nobody could have handled the situation worse than our feeble-mided "leader".

if our leader is feeble minded....what on earth is Bush? ah sod it lets all vote BNP (joke there no comebacks please) ANYWAY TENNANT DAMMIT!

How about Hank Azaria!

:D  :p

Just kidding.

Yeah. Not Tennant, please.

The Joker must be evil. A weird sort of evil, but, nonetheless, evil.

Just thought about that but you're right! Weaving would look alot like Alex Ross' Joker.

Hugo Weaving would be awesome as The Joker. Great actor, and his teeth are perfect for Jack Napier, he'd be a great choice.

PS: Revolutions was a great movie

Creepy Thin Man would be an extremely creepy Joker, and that might be the right route to go with a dark Batman such as Bale.
