Daredevil Jon Bernthal IS Frank Castle / The Punisher! - Part 1

I haven't seen anyone complain yet, but there's no pleasing some people. I prefer the skull when it looks a little sloppier, makes it look more like Frank did it himself and just looks badass.

Yeah, I like the dripping skull best as well. I imagine Frank made a stencil, and hastily paints his armor as he gears up for a mission.

Really glad the stuck with Jane's skull. It's one that has really made an impact pop culture. Bernthal is really rocking the look!

Castle doesn't get his outfit anytime soon, definitely not in the first 7 episodes.I hope we don't get a tread of season 1, getting the real outfit by the very last episode.

Expect the worst but hope for the best. Though I think we won't be getting either Punisher's or Elektra's outfit till the last episode.

I'd be more concerned with how the character is portrayed rather than when he gets his costume.

I think as the episode progress, we will be seeing lesser and lesser punisher.

I kinda feel that the main thing they are building towards is the stuff that happens with the hands./maybe some iron fist related stuff too

There is no concern there since reactions to Bernthal's Punisher is positive.

Makes sense if they ARE interested in doing a Punisher series. Get him introduced here so they can get right to the action with his series.

awesome! I think that is the reason why marvel will not do a punisher movie.
Marvel is not doing R rated movie.

In Punisher Max (IMO, the best Punisher comic title) he had to deal sex slave industry and a gangster who tricked a rival into eating his own son and desecrated the bodies of Punisher's family.

Based on what we've seen so far from Netflix, I'd say no.

In Punisher Max (IMO, the best Punisher comic title) he had to deal sex slave industry and a gangster who tricked a rival into eating his own son and desecrated the bodies of Punisher's family.

Well Daredevil's already dealt with sex traffickers on Daredevil. The Russians were deep into the skin trade and were abducting Russian tourists to make them into sex slaves. I mean the latter isn't that far off from we've seen on Hannibal...which aired on NBC.

The Netflix shows will be our dark little corner of the Marvel Universe.

I would freakin love to see Barracuda in live action, and Slavers is one of my favorite ever comic runs.

I'm feeling pretty good that it will happen. Reactions to Bernthal has been pretty damn positive, and that's just from the small circle of reviewers, I imagine once the show releases, it'll be exponential. I'm betting an announcement for a Punisher series will be at SDCC this year.

I have stopped a longggggg time ago worrying about Marvel's portrayl of their characters. They have proved time to time they are the ones that can make definite versions of their characters even if there are previous incarnations.

Spider-man will be added to that list in two months
