Deadpool 2 Josh Brolin is Cable

Came out of nowhere. Wasn't expecting Brolin to get the role, especially since he's Thanos.

Well, that was unexpected. Maybe that means Thanos won't be long after Infinity War. That said, I'm all for that. Brolin's a solid actor.

Nteresting. I think he fits Cable more than Thanos anyway.

I can see it. I'm assuming his role in MIB 3 was essentially his audition.

A fine choice. Brolin is a good actor, but has never excited me. Much better than Shannon, though.

Their filming both IW and the follow up now anyway right?

Guess it was Borys that ended up getting the kill on this one. Definitely a left field choice given the names we've heard, but not a bad one.

I wonder how filming will work out, IW films for over a year but DP2 is going to take up a bulk of this summer. Maybe he'll be in more of the second IW film?

Now onto New Mutants!!

Wow, Ok.

I hope there are well pointed jokes at Jonah Hex (being bad) and Thanos (being a non-entity).

Intresting choice.much better than SHannon for sure.Brolin was able to go from playing my most hated president ever-w to young tommy lee jones in MIB3.

wonder if 4 film deal means the plan for cable after deadpool 2 is siply X-force trilogy.

now that they have cable and domino now eyes on who is the villain and what other actors return from first film besides reynolds.

How long is Infinity War going to film? Deadpool reportedly starts in June.

Shame it's not Pitt, but I'll happily take Brolin.

I expect we won't be seeing too much of Thanos after Avengers 4.

Thanos is Cable eh?

I like it

Fun Fact: Josh and I were both raised in the same town

Brolin has been doing mo-cap for INFINITY WAR since early Septemberr or something.

And for all we know, he may be like only 40 minutes or so in Deadpool 2, setting him up for X-FORCE. So, chill!

Wow, great casting, and easily better then any of the rumored names before. Perfect.

The article says that Brolin was a "surprise contender," so I wonder if the folks behind this film or Fox in general just now finalized details on casting and could now announce it. Given how there were many disappointed that Fox didn't show or announce anything X-Men related at CinemaCon.

Wow, that actually is kind of perfect. I love the choice.

And bring in the meta jokes from Wade...
