June 2007 Sales Charts & Market Share Report

I cannot believe Daredevil: Battlin' Jack Murdock slipped into the top 100. I love the book, but damn...it's a tough sell.

Also, for all the endless *****ing JLA gets on here and on the interwebs, I find it funny to see it is DC's best selling title.

A lot of books seemed to creep on in, Checkmate has been selling out of the top 100 for a while now, seems like this dumb Outsiders crossover helped the book a bit.

Yeah, it's nice to see Dynamite get some books in there, even they are the last two slots. ;)

LOL! Namor beat Sinestro Corps, how embarassing.

Is there somewhere where the "index" number can tell you how it equates to actual sales figures?

:csad:

Hopefully that will lead to an ongoing. Not like I would buy it, but I think Namor deserves one.

Fair enough. If the current creative team stayed on, I'd probably continue to pick it up.

Good to see Hulk and Cap on top of things after dabbling in the 40s for so long.

Is that 4 or 5 DC books I count in the top 20?Ouch.Someone needs to turn that ship around quick, especially with the "flagship" titles like Action and Batman. That's just plain embarrassing.Glad to see JLA there though.

War Journal looks to have risen quite a bit from last month, then again I'm just going by chart position.

Iron Fist in the 50s keeps things steady.

Slott having a top 20 book is much deserving.Especially with that great 3rd issue.

Having looked at these,it's fairly obvious the market is just flooded with books new and old. With Fraction's The Order coming out,I predict a good debut in the mid to low 30s finally settling in a 40-50s position.

4 ongoing titles(excluding weeklies)from DC in the top 30.Wow.

Yeah, that's pretty bad, especially coming off 52 and how DC took the market share that one month. It all looked good.

DC took market share? What month was this?I thought Marvel had it for the longest time.I remember DC coming close trailing Marvel by like 5% but thats it.

I don't remember which month it was, but it was within the last year.

Has AVENGERS INITIATIVE moved up slightly since last month?

Here are the sales numbers for the previous month (for the top 20 anyway.) That should give you some kind of idea. Nice to see that sales are generally up. That's okay, DC's got Zuda coming soon!

Has AVENGERS INITIATIVE moved up slightly since last month?

I think so.Either way,the book is clear of the danger zone.

A new artist wouldn't hurt,but it's still a damn good book,especially the last issue.

Caselli wavers too much. At times he get's characters pefectly (Spider-Man, Beast) and other times their plan terrible (Hank Pym, Thing).

Eh...I agree with you on his Ben Grimm. With pretty much everyone else, though, I think he's great.

But Hank Pym looks like Troy McClure.
