Fant4stic Just got back from seeing it... Any questions?

They even changed Blake's character name fron Harvey Elder.
All the reviews are calling him Gen. Allen

You know what would have been cool is in Wizard of Oz after Dorothy gets captured by the witch they show a card that says "one year later" and cut to Tinman, Lion and Scarecrow sitting around saying, it's too bad about Dorothy."
"Yeah, but I've been keeping tabs on her, she's still in the dungeon."
"Good to know."

It's being said that so much of what is seen in the tv-spots (like The Thing falling from a helicopter) isn't even in the final product. Can you confirm this?

I hate when stuff seen in trailers and tv-spots aren't in the actual damn movie! It happens way to much, and it's not ok. So damn TASM2!

From what's been said, the scene of Thing falling from a helicopter is not in the film.

Rating?

Domaschev or Doom?

Is there an evil blogger sabotaging the experiment?

How does Sue get her powers?

Why did they feel the need to fight Doom?

Can we all agree that that isn't ok? That very scene has been used in trailers and many tv-spots already. it's so stupid.

My question is simple: Is Doom any good? He's the only reason I have any interest in seeing it. Is he more like the comics or just a mediocre Doom version like the last two FF movies?

When
Doom opens the wormhole at the end
how does he do that? Is it a device he builds, steals, or is it some power? What are Doom's powers? I assume he has actual superpowers instead of having a supersuit.

He's not Doom from the comics that's for sure.
Apparently he's not even in the movie for very long. Not memorable in any way and he's basically annihilus in that he wants to evolve the world with the powers the negative zone gave him and the four.

Well the only reason I wanted to see it was for a good Doom but he sounds like a ****fest so I'll be skipping this.

Yep........A Friday night Redbox feature for me.

Is Doom actually Domashev and is he a blogger/ hacker? Or has that all been removed through the reshoots?

He's DOOM, I hear...

Like Sue says... "We got a real Dr. Doom over here..."

:word:

How do you rate it compared to the previous franchise?

Rottentomato predictions now that you've watched it? Does it deserve the current 20%?

What is the bigger fault: Direction (Trank) or poor script (Kinberg)?

Does doom have 2 looks?
If so does the second look, look anything like his comic book look?

At the very least is the final battle with Doom any good? Is Doom even the slightest bit badass?

Do they ever explain why the Thing is never fitted with shorts or pants? And did Stan Lee have a cameo in it?

No, that's what the Tim Blake Nelson character says in a viral video for this movie. Thing doesn't wear pants for "obvious reasons".

Thanks for the clarification. For a origin explanation that is lame. So he no longer has a digestive system and his girth which is not as big as the Hulk's is the other "obvious" explanation? Wow...

What is this supposed twist people are mentioning?
