There is a huge international fan war going on between DC/Marvel fans. They troll each other on any post that's CB releated. From movies to animation to video games to tv... It can get real ugly, really quick

Yeah & most of them benefit in no way, shape, or form whatsoever. I mentioned this before, but I got an acquaintance that's Marvel through & through. So much so that during FCBD, he only picks up the free Marvel Comics, doesn't take a chance on anything else (DC, Image, any other independent comics). I give him credit for being a walking encyclopedia when it comes to Marvel. In between trolling DC "fanboys" he does engage in the frequent versus battles in many a FB Group & definitely knows his characters (Marvel ones at least). I mean, if you cut this dude open, I'm willing to bet the words Excelsior, Make Mine Marvel, & DC sucks will pour out.

Anyway, I remember him posting a meme showing Thor's tweets being at #1 & JL being at #3 & him messaging me "LOL We won". I'm like what did you win, dude? Lol you're 33, you stay at home with your Mom, & make a small hourly wage working at GameStop. Disney isn't sending you any of that money

i'm sure i will enjoy the movie and at the end of the day that's all that matters but as a DC fan i want to see heroes i love thrive on big screen.
next year Marvel fans can enjoy 6 Marvel hero movies but DC got only one.

Again, worldwide, not really.
Also the movie did not do exceptionally well overseas. Good but not great.
It is one of the great mysteries of the universe to me, the difference in the receptions of it.

At $93.5 million it would need a 2.14x multiplier to hit $200 million. Should probably be doable, it's not as hated as BvS at least, that was barely 1.99x, yuck.

What an unmitigated disaster. This is what happens when you have a director who thought he was bigger and more important than 2 pop culture icons. His portrayal of Superman and Batman caused this toxicity.

Then you have a studio that has no clue how to recover so they make a poor man's knock off Avengers that has no heart or soul. General audiences are not stupid. This looked like a phoney manufacture cash grab from a mile off.

At the end of the day I've been a Superman, Batman and JL fan since I was a kid. This whole thing is an absolute disgrace. How can you waste this potential? This thing won't even make 700 million.
