You are wrong.

Slight problem when the mega team up movie of all the best characters makes only $136m more worldwide than the lame identity character solo film.
It was supposed to be the best of DCs characters coming together as a team. Should have been a huge event rather than not a whole lot bigger than Ant Man.I don't think the justice league movie had the best characters by the way.
From my point of view there are other more interesting and better superheroes in comics, shows, cartoons, games and in movies etc.. then the ones shown in the justice league movie.

No, you're missing the point. "Enjoyable at a minimum" is exactly what you keep asking for, so have your utensils and bib at the ready in order to be force-fed the same damn thing over and over. Look at the Ant-Man & The Wasp trailer and tell me I'm wrong.

Yeah.... that doesn't really feel like the Infinity War trailer, which doesn't feel like the Black Panther trailers, which also don't feel like the Ragnorak trailers....
You're wrong. If you think that the Marvel movies, particularly as of late, are all just the same thing over and over.... you're literally just boiling it down to "this movie has jokes". That's about as reductive as it gets.
A Film Event is what it should have been. Queues round the block type event.![]()

As the days inch closer towards Infinity War, an event 10 years in the making and will undoubtedly be a huge hit for the masses and Marvel fanboys...it gets harder and harder to push back the tears.Imagine where we'd be now if both BvS and JL had delivered on all their promise and JL2 was round the corner.
Predictions would be huge.

A new report suggests that Warner Bros. knew Justice League was a dud long before it hit theaters, and they released it anyway. The studio officially launched their DC Comics-based universe with Zack Snyders Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. And although theyve expanded the shared universe with David Ayers Suicide Squad and Patty Jenkins Wonder Woman, the goal was always getting the worlds finest heroes on the big screen, together.
Justice League which starred Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), and Ray Fisher (Cyborg) as the titular heroes was a critical failure and a commercial disappointment. Warner Bros. made multiple attempts to adapt the DC superhero team into live-action, and they failed virtually every time. The one time they succeeded in bringing the Justice League onto the silver screen resulted in an unmitigated disaster. At the moment, Justice League is the lowest-grossing DCEU film at the worldwide box office. Thats something that fans feared would result in the studio canceling the DCEU, but that couldnt be further from the truth. They are still pushing full-steam ahead because they already knew Justice League would fail.
According to a new report from Revenge of the Fans, Warner Bros. top brass knew Justice League in whichever condition it came packaged in; Snyder Cut, Whedon Cut, etc. would ultimately fail, and they released it anyway so they could move onto their next project (hence half-baked CGI, a 2-hour theatrical cut, etc.). Whats interesting is that they didnt know it would tank as bad as it did. Thats partly because the movie wasnt what people expected (or wanted), and partly because it was a sequel to BvS a controversial film that left a bad taste in moviegoers mouths.
Since the studio knew what they had on their hands, they already got the ball rolling on behind-the-scenes changes, such as how DC Films operates under Warner Bros. Pictures, prior to Justice Leauge hitting screens in November. (Remember, DC Films co-chief Geoff Johns and DC Entertainment president Diane Nelson said as much in September). And thats precisely why DC Films official slate hasnt changed since its announcement at SDCC last summer. They knew where they wanted to go post-Justice League, and theyre sticking with that schedule one that involves less interconnected films.
Aquaman, Shazam!, and Wonder Woman 2 are currently the only DC movies with confirmed release dates, though the studio has plenty more DC films in active development. While each movie will exist within the DCEU, Warners wont prioritize interconnectivity anymore. Each film will be allowed to exist independently (as Wonder Woman did) and will be at the charge of their respective creative teams (i.e. filmmaker-driven); quality above all. Well just have to wait and see how it all plays out from here, but at least they have a gameplan.
Not at all surprised if that's true. It's as I expected, they think folks will just show up because batman, superman, ww, etc are in it.
If they don't stop interfering, it will be just more of the same.
Its because it looks super fan and something a non-comic book fan can enjoy.I wasn't a big fan of Ant Man and as I just finished watching the trailer to Ant Man & the Wasp I'm dumbfounded by the fact that this movie is going to make way more BO $$$ than Justice League. Who would have ever thought that 2-3 yrs ago.
I hope so. If I want to see a spaghetti western there are tons that are great and much better than what Logan attempted . Id rather have a true wolverine film and some real x-men movies while were at it .Add TDK if you like, but the point remains. They're going to file off all the edges and what remains will be smooth and harmless. Ask for vanilla, get vanilla.
You won't see a movie like Logan out of Disney. You're going to get a Wolverine who ends every sentence with "Sure, bub!" and puffs cigars while slashing down bipedal lizards. On the upside, you'll get to see the suits.
I said it long ago about JL that I feel that WB and Whedon pulled off the salvage to an extent that they maybe ok with. And that is exactly what has happened. Can you imagine a $90 M opening with BvS legs? THAT would have been totally awful. At least it is now in the flop category than a complete disaster.
What do you mean interfering?
It was WB's narrative that "everything was fine" in the DCEU and some fans swallowed--hook, line and sinker.
All WB ended up doing was literally polishing turds (excluding WW), and in turn, made an ass off of certain fans.
If true, this is certainly surprising--you would think executives valued profit, on their investment, over saving face in the eyes of the public.
I know you liked it honestbharani but I wish it would have been a complete disaster. It came off as so try hard that it is complete cheese and now we have to suffer through more films in this universe when I would prefer a complete course correcting reboot.

WB has put themselves in a tight spot. What to do, what to do.
Flashpoint it? Or...
Reboot the whole thing or
Years and years of waiting before they ever try again.
Things can change on a dime, and I rule nothing in or out.
