Has it been confirmed whether or not the Batman killing controversy will be addressed here? Like maybe they'll have Batman/Bruce mention to someone that he used to have a non-killing rule until Superman showed up and he went dark and crossed the line but changed towards the better after Superman's death and is now back towards his old self as the Batman he used to be.

Why would they need to when they pretty much said/showed it in a much more clever/less hammer over the head way at the end of BvS.

I never said they needed to, I was just wondering if they plan to and yeah it was pretty much already established a but but I guess I'm just unions about this Batman's past during his career pre BvS

I think at this point the Batman movie should be the place for Bat flashbacks (but if we got a few I wouldn't mind some more beautifully shot flashbacks I just don't feel they are necessary anymore).

I don't think it was ever implied that he had a strict no-kill policy. It was more that he had just become a lot more brutal and somewhat torturous. I think the no-kill policy is something he'll adopt post-BvS as a way of honoring Superman.

I'm really interested in knowing how this Batman was early on in his career and how he handled petty criminals and villains prior to BvS compared to Bruce's change after Superman.

I'm sure there will be some references to his past in Suicide Squad and more references/flashbacks in the solo film but this film happens before the solo film and so it will be very interesting to see Batman go from BvS to SS to this film

Yeah, and what the Heck happened to Wayne Manor? I like that Snyder has established alot of mystery and intrigue as to just what has happened to Bruce to make him the way he is now.

Agreed.

You know how Batman Begins was set during Year One but would occasionally flashback to Bruce's childhood?

I'm hoping The Batman is framed the same way, but instead it flashes back from Batman Year 25 to Batman Year One. It'll juxtapose a youthful, very angry and maybe even impulsive vigilante with the World's Greatest Detective that he's destined to become.

Never noticed but he seems to have some make up under his eyes.

Any word who will be playing Steppenwolf? I figured it would be like Doomsday and they'll get some random voice actor to voice him.

No news yet, huh?… Damn I guess San Diego Comic Con will be the next time we get any info or anything DC related.

Yep, I think they'll remain silent until there, it's not that far hehe !

Well no he is not a monster. He actually is a villain. I think it's like how they used the obscure villain Ronan instead of someone else menacing. I think they are going to approach Darkseid just like how GOTG addressed Thanos. They are just saving the big baddie for later. I'm guessing any non soap-opera or an enough big time actor could work for Steppenwolf.

I actually want to see Steppenwolf and other Apokolips villains that work under Darkseid to be treated the same sort of way as Xerxes. I mean scary and menacing.

Agreed. If Steppenwolf is supposed to be Darkseid's general and harbinger a bag of small potatoes he is not.

because if you read these forums, you'll discover that there's a ton of people who just didn't get it

I don't get the big deal about Steppenwolf being the big bad. Unless the villain is The Joker people don't go see these films primarily for the villain in the first place. Marvel's villains are garbage and people continue to see and like those movies because they like the lead characters and the stories. Marvel does a good job with those things and I like most of their output so I don't ***** about the villain issue endlessly.

Darkseid should not be the first villain the League face.

This is great and I would have loved to see more of this. Batman's style of humor is spot-on. However, it's unfortunate that this was really the only time all 3 of them interacted (except for Superman and WW not speaking to each other), and one of the couple of times Supes and Batman spoke to each other.

And it's too bad that Superman likely won't get too many more moments talking to WW or Batman in Justice League, if he isn't coming back until the end. I think it would have been MUCH better to end BvS with Superman alive, and then the trinity decides together that they need to put together a team to fight the oncoming threat.
