I know the issue has been brought up several times before, but this needs to happen. Okay, it doesnt necessarily need to happen, but it would be the best thing ever.

Let's face facts, Smallville is very close to being out of gas. John Schneider, Annette O'Toole, Michael Rosenbaum, John Glover and Kristin Kreuk are gone. Allison Mack was, like, an inch away from leaving with KK and MR last season. Al and Miles left. It's time give the show a good ending before it gets dragged on until the end of time.

However, the Cw doesnt need to be completely without a superhero series in the smallvilleverse. What better series to replace the rise of Superman, than the rise of the Justice League?

The series would star Justin Hartley (Green Arrow), Kyle Gallner (Impulse), Alan Ritchson (Aquaman), Lee Thompson Young (Cyborg), Aliana Huffman (Black Canary) and Phil Morris (J'onn J'onzz). And possibly the new girl they have to play Maxima, depending on what will happen with the character. The series would give us the possibility to explore the DCU as Smallville would, except to a greater degree. We could get the possibility of seeing characters like Clark, Kara, Chloe and Lois showing up in guest spots. But, we could also get new DCU characters like Green Lantern, Hawkman/girl, Booster Gold, Steel, The Atom, Captain Marvel, etc. There could even be episodes that feature The Legion of Superheroes of season 8 travelling to the present and fighting alongside our team.

The main adversary of the series should be the Cadmus Project and Amanda Waller, in particular. She would employ the Suicide Squad to take out the League.

And, I want to hear nothing about Warner Brothers not allowing this. They are full of hot air. Their Justice League film is going nowhere, and when it was going somewhere, it sounded God awful. Heck, they cant even find a way to make a sequel for Superman, I highly doubt that anything will become of the Justice League in the next five years. And, as a matter of fact, Green Arrow has a film in development at the same time as he is going to be a regular on Smallville. I dont see the problem here.

The Justice League episode of Smallville was extremely sucessful and they (or actually just a few members) will even be reappearing this season premiere. I think that the CW, or actually the fans should campaign hard for this.

I like it, I think it could work, the only problem though I don't think the CW is going to be around. I have been seeing post on the boards here that CW is in trouble, and then last night I was watching ECW on Sci Fi and the showed that Friday Night Smackdown (which is the CW's fourth biggest rated show) is moving to the My Network TV on October 3, so that has me a bit worried.

Other than that though I love the idea of a Justice League spin off show to happen

I doubt CW is going anywhere. Sure, people are worried, but that is because CW doesnt get as high ratings as other networks (NBC, ABC, CBS) and neither did UPN or The WB. The network will live on as home to soapy teen dramas (Gossip Girl, 90210) and crappy reality shows (America's Next Top Model). So long as a few good shows are thrown in every once and a while (Smallville, Supernatural, Reaper, One Tree Hill...well, alright, that one is also a teen drama, but its so much better than the rest) I'll be happy.

Honestly, I dont know how they lost Smackdown to My Network TV. I mean, who watches that network, anyway?

An interesting thought and a great concept...if only it would happen. However, I would revise the cast of charactes.

For some reason, I'm okay with neither Impulse or Cyborg appearing in Season 8's premiere (although it would have been great to see them ALL together).

I've justified it as they are heading off to form their own team (the Titans) that Supergirl will eventually join...

I would kinda like to see Kara go to the future with the Legion of Superheroes.

I guess...

She needs a conclusion to her story rather than leaving her trapped in the Zone.

I would like 'Justice' to be a 5-year show. I wouldn't want it to drag on for too long. I would like each season to introduce at least 2 new hero characters to the team, similar to Unlimited, and have them rotate the storyline so it remains fresh and new.

Beyond the regular cast of Green Arrow, Black Canary, Martian Manuhunter and Aquaman, the show could introduce Green Lantern and an older Flash (not Impulse) in Season 1.

Season 2 could introduce Batman and Wonder Woman (WB needs to just let these characters appear already)

Season 3 could introduce Hawkgirl and Captain Marvel.

Season 4 could introduce Red Tornado and Vixen.

Season 5 could introduce Zatanna and the Atom.

Not sure why I picked these characters, but I find them all very interesting.

Now that is something that I would watch. Your right WB hell even DC needs to let Batman and Wonder Woman show up on Smallville or any spin off.

I like your idea. I think it would be cool if each episode was kinda like Brave and the Bold, two heros per episode at a time, with some episodes like first and last and maybe a few in the middle with the entire team.

This would make a nice Justice spinoff concept ;)

I like that idea

i'd love to see this show, but I don't think it'll happen. Alot of shows that are filmed in Canada are having trouble now because it costs to much to fill up there now.

I agree... I mean I would mind if they got different actors to play the roles but thats a good way to go about it.

Im all for a JLA series!

I like it. I would really love to see a Justice series after Smallville's over. :D

While I would love to see Bats and WW appear, I doubt they would be regulars.

But otherwise, I need to see Batman in the SV universe.

I also agree that it needs to be only 5 seasons. 6 at most. 7/8 seasons is when shows start to sour.

He is a pretty good actor on one tree hill and he could be a good early batman. Just bulk up a bit and i would be down for him.

My JUSTICE cast...(some based more so on looks, others on acting)
JUSTICE will introduce 2 new members to the team each season. As recurring characters, each new member will be featured in a 13-episode arch that overlaps with the season’s plot. Season 5’s 3-part series finale will include all 15 members of the JLA.
