Maybe I'm the only one that's still a fan of the character, but I think he would make for a awesome movie. I was watching 10,000 BC....and I was just thinking...man this movie sucks, but if you added dinosaucers and Ka-zar...and this movie will rock so much better.

I really hope Marvel does a movie about him one day.

I think you touched on a very un-known Marvel character for the general public. But Blade was like that before his success. So if anything is done right, it can work.

Only problem: People might think its the Beastmaster. Hell I thought 10,000 B.C. was the Beastmaster.

I was never a big Ka-zar fan, but I would certainly go check it out. I agree that if they did blade they could take Ka-zar and make it work.Like i said i would check especially if it had Sheena in it. haha

I couldnt help but think there would be too many "Tarzan rip-off" reviews and comments but it could still make a good movie.

Its like trying to cast Captain America and Thor. Wrestlers and buff mediocre actors come to mind. Any real actor with actual talent would probably be dismissed for being to scrawny.

Jason Lewis comes to mind as he does have the look for a superhero, buff and handsome, but Id be weary of his acting ability.

And of course Karl Urban will be mentioned since this is his wheelhouse. Hes not Oscar caliber but hes damn entertaining in this wild man/sci fi genre so Id say hes the best bet. But this would be like the ultimate typecast. He'll prolly never leave the genre

Hahah. i forgot it was "Shanna". told you I was never a big fan of Ka-zar. Haha. all those Shannas and Sheenas and Rimas and Janas of the jungle all run together.
But if she looks like that 80's movie "Sheena" starring Tonya Roberts with that loin cloth on.This flick get my vote.
Even if she was to telepathically call flamingo like Sheena did in that flick,with that leopard outfit she is sportin! I'm there!

I know Conan is being worked on, and everyone knows RR is working on Red Sonja, if those 2 do well, I wouldn't be suprised if Ka-Zar's name gets mentioned by the Marvel suits.

interesting, might be somewhat expensive, depending on how reliant on savage land monsters the producers want to be-- i.e., dinosaurs, mammoths, etc. just no giant bugs like in King Kong, please..
