IMO, we had our Karate Kid in the 80's, let the kids of today have theirs!!!

Well Steve, I believe seeing another crappy remake cant be good for the future of the film industry. Especially how great this original was and didnt need a remake. I feel this disrespects the original in many ways and I refuse to see it. Im not "crying" simply forming my own opinion.
It isn't about the future it is about the now.
I can't wait until 15 years from now when movies from this decade start getting remade, so these children can feel what it is like to be told a portion of your childhood experience wasn't good & needs to be redone.
It is instulting & infuriating.
That makes me sad.$19 Million Friday baby!!!!!![]()
When I saw A-team yesterday, the theatre had people dressed in kabuki outfits. It was embarrassing and a little racist. I'm disappointed this movie is doing well, but I guess I can't fault families for going to see the first non-animated flick for the whole family this summer. It just stings more because Jaden Smith just comes off so cocky for a 12-year old kid.
Makes me wonder what they'll do for a sequel since they already are in Asia. Go back to Detroit and take on Jaden's uncle?
Why do ppl complain about seeing The Karate Kid and yet...........
It's ok to see the A-Team?

Because Karate Kid is a remake, while A-Team is something based on a old tv show. So its completely different. Why do ppl complain about seeing The Karate Kid and yet...........
