They've recast characters many times before. Sure it was a memorable scene to see Scott reunited with his daughter, but once again, the actress playing Cassie in that scene did not even really have any lines of dialogue. She was basically a placeholder actress.

Also we have seen the movie, the replacement wasn't an improvement so thats the main issue.

You aren't Marvel Studios as well to dictate us that she was only a placeholder when that original actress only found out she was being replaced after the news came out... no one saw Endgame and eXpected her to be recast later on. Her being a placeholder is your own opinion.
