Kevin Smith and the View Askewniverse

That sucks he should have put that on the Dogma special edition DVD, I love that news clip.

Dogma is my favorite film from Kev. He's a great filmmaker, and an inspiration to aspiring indy filmmakers. He's also Very funny. I like all his films, but mallrats being at the bottom.

Tim burton I used to really dig, but then I went back and watched his films again, and realized he was VERY overrated, and though his films are okay, probably his best film is the most underrated. Which goes to show how bad most people's taste in movies is.

I'm really looking forward to Zack and miri, but I'm not sure about redstate. Also, it's cool that I got my name in the Clerks II DVD.

you lucky bastard, I was like a week off of being in the credits on the DVD.

I got the one disc Dogman DVD years ago. It has no special features or anything:csad:

:whatever: :whatever: Cause your the expert opinion right...

Chasing Amy and Mall Rats are probably my favourites. Jason Lee is the best part about those films for me -- his humour is just right for my taste. :)

I find that funny as hell, is it on the DVD.

It's not on the DVD, but he talks about it on An Evening With Kevin Smith. It's funny because it just shows none of the people protesting would even watch the movie or do the smallest bit of research since they didn't realize the creator and one of the stars of the movie was protesting with them.

No, but in my opinion, the fact that his most underrated is his best is proof that people have bad taste in movies.

People always praise Nightmare before christmas, edward scissorhands, or even batman, yet Big fish is always overlooked.

exactly -
everything is subject to opinion, and people tend to forget that.
and in all honesty, big fish and ed wood(2 overlooked burton flix) are his best works.

Hey Lunar Wolf you called DOGMA, DOGMAN, you dare disrespect the Smith, boo this man. BOOOOOOOOOOOOO GET OFF STAGE!

Tim Burton is "very overrated" but Kevin Smith is a "great filmmaker"?

yeah, my favorite thing about Banky besides him being played by jason lee is how he would freak out and beat people up for calling him a tracer.
