Kevin Williamson's 'The Following'

The main thing that gets about this show is how impossible it would actually be to orchestrate all of this from a damn prison. When you are locked up every means of communication you have with the outside world is monitored. Mail isn't supposed to be but the guards do it anyway. Even those visits through the glass are monitored.

See but we dont know how long hes been planning this? We dont know who on the outside is helping him. For everything you say is impossible I can bring up 1000 real world incidents of random killings, and incidents where people say " I never knew he was capable of something"

its just like when you have killings and shootings, theres always copycats, always people who want to belong and feel like well that was my greenlight to go.

So in the end....and its going to sound scary....you have 1000s in this world just waiting for ONE person to act...

I hope it improves, got to be honest with you , I have not been so keen on the past few episodes.

Now it really begins. Didn't expect that many followers, I also think one future reveal may be that there are mansions like that set up across the US.

Finally...Warren Kole appearing next week as
Roderick

Well that was a nutty ending for nutty people

I swear I have never had to suspend so much disbelief ever in a show. Like even with GoT or Buffy or TVD.

Last night's episode was great! Joe's reaction to meeting his son was acted really well. I bet the mom gets taken to that mansion instead of witness protection.

My first reaction when they were heading to where Joe/his lawyer was: "Why just them?" Won't there be local PD that will likely be closer? Other Federal agents, perhaps?

I know most of the show was filmed prior to the Dorner manhunt, but it's stark contrast to how the show is dealing with a supposedly more dangerous person.

Forget all y'all, I'm loving this. :o:up:

That ending was wonderful.

I'm currently catching up on this. Though one thing I do have to say, is anyone actually a bit worried that they're stretching this out over two seasons? This is a great concept, but it really doesn't seem like one that should stretch out for two 15 episode seasons. I mean, it's a plot I could see filling a mini-series, but two whole seasons of television seems a bit much. I'm worried that the quality will dip as they drag it out.

Williamson is a master storyteller. I really could see the end of this season being a game changer that allows the story to continue without feeling like they're stretching anything.

Just saw that this got renewed for a second season. Great news but I hope this show doesn't turn into the Killing.... How are you going to keep it going?

Great song at the end by the way, If I had a Heart by Fever Ray. I love it when a show has great music in it. :)

Oh man, **** the scene with the straight blade razor. That thing really terrifies me.

The shot of the woman holding the straight razor and then basically not reacting at all to what she did was just cold-blooded. It's about what you'd expect out of the people that Carroll has recruited.

After seeing that, I just feel like walking around in a full suit of armor. It made my skin crawl to see how easily she did it.

By not having it focusing on a singular homicide, for one.
