The Dark Knight Rises Killer Croc

It's definitely too 'out there' for the Nolan approach. I was just messing around with the concept. Maybe more for a 'Del Toro' approach to Batman... :O

I would like Croc to look the way he does in Arkham Asylum, he just looks cool and awesome looking and thats what I'm going for when it comes to killer croc. I want him to actually look like a croc in my mind.

You mean the comic??

Because in the game looks too non human for a Nolan movie.

Game because Croc needs to look no human for him to be a good villian in my eyes.

I'd love for Croc's Arkham Asylum look to be in a live-action movie but unless Nolan loosens his stance on the realism it probably won't happen.

Could Croc make his way to Nolan Bat movie? I'm not so sure...

You know what, it's possible.

Despite me not liking the graphic novel all that much, I do like the version of Killer Croc in "Joker", as a black gangleader, with "Killer Croc" as a street name.

They could, of course, tweek the character a bit more in the movie, but I thought that was a clever idea.

If croc were to appear in the third film, I would want him to be a cannibal who has escaped in a mass breakout from arkham. He could maybe be australian and that's where he gets his nickname from. Or he could just have a huge scary looking crocodile tattoo. He could maybe be played by the big black guy who was tormenting Bellick in Prison Break season 2.

If I had to pick a voice performer for Croc to do the character's dialogue in post-production, I think the perfect voice actor for him is Michael Wincott. He has an extremely deep and gravelly voice with a bit of a Southern twang (which might be good to have if they're aiming to have Croc have his Cajun roots as he does in some storylines). Altered in post, his voice can sound even more menacing and beastly. If you're wondering what his voice sounds like, here's a clip from The Crow. I can definitely hear Croc speaking in a voice like that.

I'd rather see Croc in full reptilian glory in a different take on Batman altogether, along with other more fantastical elements that fit that style more appropriately. What's nice about these kinds of movies is that no-one series or approach has to cover/include everything. But it'll just have be a bit of a wait in between series'.

I'd rather see that version of Croc myself, similar to the Arkham Asylum version. I guess anything is possible.

I've always suggested that croc was a henchmen for scarecrow, when gassed he looks like a more crocodilian figure.

That's a good idea, have Croc appear to be more like his monstrous AA appearance in a hallucination, and his regular appearance would be like the action figure I linked to.

I think Killer Croc shouldn't have scales. He has a skin disease right? So to cover the skin problem Croc goes through a scarification process for his entire body.

I think the Kaningara scarring would work really well for the realism needed in a Nolan Batman film. The "scales" look like this

Looking from the front the scarring forms the head of a crocodile.

Give him the backstory from the comics and he can fit in well for at least the hired muscle for the main villain.

That's not too bad I guess, just make the scarring more dense all over his body.

The actor for Killer Croc could be Micheal Clark Duncan.

I love the idea of the fear toxin, and this picture would be badass if that's how Batman saw him.

Another awesome picture Kal

A gangster with skin condition is Croc's core, which these movies always stay true to. And the fear toxin could easily exacerbate his appearance to the grotesque Reptile look.

Thanks. Still, I'd rather see a new take on Batman that incorporates more of the fantasy elements if they're going to use Croc...and then they can really play up his reptilian look et al. After Nolan's done, and down the road.

The Fear Toxin enhancing Croc's appearance is a great idea and a plausible way to have a more monstrous image of him in the film. I could see his basic look being fairly close to the toy I posted earlier, and a Fear Toxin-enhanced look for him close to the AA version.

Why not just make him look like that in a movie version better suited to have him in?

I think a Croc who resembles the toy I posted could be applied fairly easily to a Nolan Batman film, although I'd imagine the scaliness and green skin would be toned down considerably. I can see a TAS-style Croc being done in a live-action film as well.

As for what portrayal I'd like, I don't see him being used as a main villain, but a strong supporting role would be good. I like him as both the muscle to a gang (like in The Joker GN) and a sewer-dwelling serial killer.

I think Croc should of course be a serial killer, but is sane and only uses the 'canibalism' schtick as a scare tactic in order to play crazy to just get sent to Arkam Asylum so he won't get the death penalty. So mentally, he's pretty stable, he just knows how to play the police and the doctors.

Physically, probably just some large, muscular, black man with sharpened teeth. He can look greenish is certain lighting, but his skin of course is just brown.
