Europe (will take too long to get all the numbers, we know that the PS3 outsold the Xbox 360 by about 300k units during the period of January 07 to September 07. Coincidentally beating the 360's first year performance during a similar timeframe. THe 360 apparently did the same numbers during the same period last year. Due to the effort involed I'm not going to bother with European sales right now maube later.

Tabulating America and Japan, the PS3 has a 303 490 unit lead over the Xbox 360 during a similar timeframe. If we count the full year Xbox 360 numbers versus the PS3 numbers missing October and November, then the Xbox 360 has a 1 422 000 million lead not counting Europe which would deminish that number to somewhere around 1 million..

All data according to Media Crate and the NPD. There's a 1 month tabulation dicrepency with the American numbers only going up to the end of September, but the Japanese numbers account till the end of OCtober.
